Al,
Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered 4 from my LHS today. They look pretty good and are nicely priced.

As I've said before, BoS is my favorite HO company right now for cars and specialty vehicles. They take chances , they realize there are other makes besides all of the previously mentioned Mercedes, BMW, ETC. They also realize that Cadillac is a strong marquee name in many parts of the world and I will buy every different type they make, period. I wish they would offer more colors; how about 3 colors per vehicle?
The F-Series Ford pickup should be done by RPS again, how about the F-150 next from 2008?

If you are going to be responsible for the production of HO Cadillac CTS and SRX versions for example, I'll guarantee you I'll buy at least 10 of each make. Don't believe it? I'll post photos of them on my layout in close-up photos. Trust me, I will NOT buy just 1 or 2. Of course, this applies to types like Herpa assembled or Herpa Minikits in plastic (for comparison).

mstar,
Does Cadillac really have to have a major presence in Europe in order for the HO collector to add to his/her collection? How many Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, and BMW vehicles does one need in order to be satisfied? Every make from every model year? A true collector will have a diversified collection of quality, accurately proportioned HO vehicles of all types and manufacturers. Mercedes Benz makes up possibly only 4-5% of the US market, yet I have MORE Mercedes Benz on my layout and in my collection than I will ever need. Same goes for every European make except for VW, which has at least 8-9% of the US market.
After saying this, I will buy Minichamps" new HO vehicles because I truly want them to succeed and I know they will be high quality.

Tony,
That's probably one of the biggest developments in HO vehicle collecting/modeling in the past 10 years if it goes into production. Are these new vehicles going to be in plastic? I'll definitely be getting quite a few, and I'd really like to add the Mercedes GL Class, (2010-2016). Also, let's not forget the US market! How about Cadillac CTS, DTS, and SRX versions from 2010-now? That is when Minichamps will really get me excited.

Tony,
Thank you for this info, because if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have known about the Evoque. Just put in my order last night, and it was for 4 BoS models. BoS is THE most exciting company in HO right now, and nobody else is even close. If BoS would please reduce all of their American 1/43 models to HO that would be welcome of course!
I also have to admit that the 1/87 Vehicle Club is becoming a joke. BoS is not even listed in their directory, that's pathetic! Of course, if this is a HO company making American trucks the Club would be all over it.

This has become one of my favorite sites but now it seems as though it is under construction. Anybody know what's going on with this site, and if it's coming back soon?

Gary,
Maybe Brekina will consider doing cars from around the world again, but I wouldn't expect it at this point. They sure do make some quality vehicles, that's for sure.
Perhaps our best chance for that 1967 Impala would be BoS Models. Are they a subsidiary of Neo, or their own company? Either way, they seem to be going American and I will support them as much as I can. I like your Olds Vista Cruiser as a suggestion as station wagons are iconic in a way. Oldsmobile has been long neglected in our scale! BoS Models probably has the edge now and momentum as far as I can see. CMW could also do some 1960's American cars, which would be a nice change for them.

Gary,
Yes, the good old wish list; they are still fun for me even after all these years. I'm only going to represent the USA, but I would love the 1967 Chevy Impala instead of the Camaro. Malibu did the '69 Camaro in convertible form.

mstar,
That's great news on the American cars because I'm buying all of them! I'm trying to support BoS as much as I can and I can only hope the 2009 Dodge Challenger is coming up shortly.

Christian,
Did I see a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup in there? It looked really good and I'd like some info on that please.

nvrr49,
Sorry for the late reply, but I'm modeling suburban American towns in the year 2010, so I need medium sized ones that you would find on gas stations and restaurants with bars. Also, I have four houses so 4 smaller ones too!
Thanks, Vito L.
