Ron,
Will the standard cabs get released by Christmas? If yes, that is very good because I'll have a nice long list for the family! Add the crew cab with utility body by Christmas and I'll get some toys for myself!

Ron,
Has the crew cab with utility body been pushed back to 2016? I was really hoping that with 2 new suppliers things would get rolling again.

Ron,
Any news on the standard cabs? Are they on the water, in the air, on the rails? I would love to see these in the stores soon and I really do hope they are not delayed.

Jim,
Gtrat catch on your part, let's hope we see these final 2 releases in HO. I would also want 2 Chargers in every color. Neo, if you're reading this, please do the Chargers! Go out with a bang!
By the way, Schuco did a great job with new announcements and the new Porsches look great as well as the Ferrarris.

Did Neo announce anything new, or are they in trouble? Was Oxford at the show? It looks like it's Herpa and RPS for 2015 as far as new models, everything else doesn't do it for me. Somebody please tell me, what happened to our little hobby?

On the MO87 website I learned that Schuco is producing 2 Ferraris in HO, the 458 Italia and the 458 Speciale. This is very good news for collectors and for myself, where I have a dealership that occasionally gets some super cars to sell! Of course, there are many new Porsche models coming too. I'll be tempted to do a Porche dealership one day.
Now, how about Neo making some exciting American cars and for BHOH to carry all of their production line.
I'm still waiting for this "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" from Herpa. What is it? Did I miss something from last year? Is it due for this show?
Can Busch please offer some newly tooled American vehicles? No, the 1964 Mustang hardtop does not count in new colors.
Toy State may have won the under-the-radar award last year because their models are pretty well done for the price. The Cat colors are correct and the quality is close to Norscot, at 1/3 or 1/4 the price depending om your source. I've added 2 models to my Cat dealership and will post photos later. Now, 4 are close to HO and they are available at Toys-R-Us in the US.
I'm hoping for a good surprise or two this year, perhaps from RPS?

Jens' 3D models are not too bad when you consider proportion and the amazing variety that he has. The problem is with the layering and how bad it looks on the "glass". Clear glass with smooth surfaces would be a tremendous improvement. Many of these models could be used for parking lots and heavy traffic scenes. They don't need interiors because of this.
I have not bought any yet because I need to see the above mentioned improvement, not only on the glass, but the whole vehicle. 3D technology seems close, but it has a long way to go in my opinion.

I'm counting on seeing the modern E-Series vans sometime in my lifetime; it's only the most highly sought after vehicles for my layout. Look around, and you see dozens of contractor vans all over the place in the urban USA.

I have to admit I am interested in the Challenger too, but the shipping could be more than the kit itself! Perhaps Christian can find more info on how much a kit would cost shipped to Chicago, IL.

According to Mo87, RPS is going to release a service body based on the crew cab. Pictured is a Union Pacific version, with a bucket attachment. Looks very good, although I see 2 different colors on the cab and the body for the yellow striping. I'm sure this will get corrected.
If this truck is indeed coming out soon it will a major positive for HO scale collectors and model railroaders. The last service body done in assembled plastic was by Trident about 35 years ago!

Nick,
I have tried many times in the past to get Greenlight to move over to HO; at first they seemed mildly interested, but now it's like talking to the wall. This happened at iHOBBYexpo over the years in Rosemont, IL. This would be the one company that could make dozens of HO vehicles if they wanted to simply because they already have the measurements and Ford seems to be relatively easy to deal with. I would buy the new Ford Edge and Explorer in multiples, like I always do if made well.
I'm sure even the Suburban, Tahoe, and Trailblazer from GM would get done if there was enough interest; they are certainly long enough.
Oh well, maybe one day RPS will really shock us and make a GM vehicle, specifically a 2005-2010 Tahoe. Ron already has the the light bar and push bar. Of course, GM needs to cooperate.
Tony, contact Greenlight, who knows what they might say? I'm sure the new Edge looks great, and the original was very unique too.

Tony,
Do you recall about 5 years ago that River Point Station was going to do the Edge? It was going to be done in 2 versions also, but of course, there was not enough interest in the project. Model railroaders are way too cheap to pay more than 15.00 per vehicle plus it just HAS to be a truck based vehicle over here. Sadly, we missed out on another great vehicle from RPS.
If Herpa ever announces this supposed new HO vehicle that has never been done before then we might have a 1% chance that it could be the Edge. Otherwise, forget about it!
Maybe we can convince Neo to do some American vehicles from the 1990's-today; that would be something to cheer about.

Autoart, I'm with Tony; I don't need key chains for any reason, but if you made an actual diecast or plastic HO model fully assembled I'd buy a few for sure. I always buy more than 1 color of a model if it's looks just right. Just a thought, I'd love a modern Toyota or Scion Xb, for example.

I'm sorry if I'm diverting from the original post, but I was going to start a thread on this soon anyway. Has Wiking released the Tiguan and Toureg in the latest generation? Not a 2014 or 15 model, just the newer models. I thought I saw them at Toy Fair about 4-5 years ago.

Christian,
Does this or will this affect the newest generation of Volkswagons that Wiking has in its lineup? I'm talking about the Passat, Toureg, and Tiguan. Where are they? Has Wiking decided to not release them? I have only seen the Passat I believe, and the Passat wagon. Hopefully, these latest VW's are safe and will come out from Wiking soon.
Thanks, Vito L.
