In case anyone is interested, several of the new Oxford cars are available on line now. I just ordered the 1957 Chevy Nomad, the 1955 Buick Century, and a couple 1965 Chevy Pickups from Big Creek Hobbies and a few other sites said they had some in stock (low quantities, though). They also had the 1936 Buick Convertible. While searching around via Google, I found a page from Die Cast Direct that lists some more upcoming (2017) Oxford autos, including the above in different paint schemes, and a few others that were of interest to me: 1950 Oldsmobile Rocket, 1959 Pontiac Bonneyville, and 1961 Cadillac Sedan De Ville. Here is a link (these were on page 4): www.diecastdirect.com/asp_modules/catalogscale.asp?pageNo=4&Scale=87&Type=A&SubType=&Brand=Al Carter

Al,
Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered 4 from my LHS today. They look pretty good and are nicely priced.

Update... I received the four new Oxford vehicles today (55 Buick, 57 Nomad, 2 '65 Chevy Pickups). They are, in my opinion, excellent models, especially considering the price. The paint is flawless (if slightly heavy) and the detail is superb. By using a magnifying glass, you can read "Chevrolet" or "Buick" on the hood/grills. They all have license plates (readable with high magnification), interiors with "fabric" seats and steering wheels. All have window glass, and the Buick and Nomad have white side walls. The Nomad has "spinner" hubcaps (if you look closely), and the Buick has a nice hood ornament.
Measurements: 55 Buick: 17' long, 7' wide, 5' tall; 57 Nomad: 16'6" long, 6' wide, 5 tall; '65 Chevy Pickup: 16' long, 6'9" wide, 5'6" tall

My only gripe about the Chevy pickup is they left a clear unpainted plastic section at the bottom corners of the windshield. I need to try to match the color of the body in order to hide these. Also the steering wheel is practically laying on the floor.

The Oxford 1936 Buick and 1941 Lincoln are really nice. I look forward to seeing more pre-WWII American styles from them.

Hi all: The Oxford 1959 Pontiac Bonneyville finally made it to my hobby shop; and, I got two. They also had about 20 of the Buick all in the same ugly green color, one for me. Time to have some fun, even if it's just me, Swamp Daddy

I am awaiting the more modern Mopars that Oxford has been teasing us with, but according to Walthers, they list them as coming out in March 2019.

I am awaiting the more modern Mopars that Oxford has been teasing us with, but according to Walthers, they list them as coming out in March 2019. ...and October 2019 for the second set of releases (black 300 convertible with top up, DeSoto taxi, turquoise/black 57 pickup, orange Daytona and gold Charger with black top). I preordered the second set from Walthers today, along with new colors of the 59 Pontiac and 61 Cadillac that also come out in October. Wish the red 68 Charger would have the black top too, then it would match my 1:1 68 Charger. I also hope they do a 68 Charger in the factory correct turquoise metallic with white top and the factory correct yellow with black top. The red is a great color choice for the 68 Charger, but the only 68 color worse than gold, were the various greens Dodge offered in 68. Lots of better color choices for that 68.

Sure wish Oxford would come out with some 55 or 56 Packards at their typical prices; I'd buy a train load of them.
What diecast car would you want at Oxford prices?
Have fun modeling, Swamp Daddy

I am eagerly awaiting (and waiting, and waiting and waiting) their Daytona and Charger. I would like a '70 or '71 Challenger (not as much difference to matter much unlike the '70 and '71 'Cuda). A '69 Camaro (hardtop) would be nice. I grew up in the '70s in the shadow of the 1960's to 1973 or '74 muscle car era (I started appreciating cars in around 1977 or '78 when I was 7/8 years old) so those are my favorites. I wouldn't mind a '70, '71, '72, or '73 Trans Am or Formula (we had the '74 TA from Busch--maybe still have it).

Heard that Oxford has announced a 63 Corvair coupe, 57 Cadillac ElDorado Brougham 4 door hardtop, 54 Pontiac Chieftan 4 door sedan, and a 1950 Chevy panel van and ambulance. Two colors have been announced for each, and they have also announced a third color for each of the four Mopar releases that we're still waiting for.

Hi all: Got the 57 Cadillac ElDorado Brougham 4 door hardtop yesterday at the one remaining hobby shop near me. So, that model is out. Mine is black with a Silver top. None of the other 3 mentioned in Jim68cuda's post at the shop yet so I assume Walthers does not have them yet.
Have fun, Swamp Daddy
