I think I would have bought the CTS-V model so it's sad. But I have to say I think it's correct to stop planning new models of GM. They are not worth it, if the heads of GM are that ignorant. It's no wonder that all the world thinks (at least here in Germany), that the bosses of GM are the most incompentent in the world.

Talking to the Ford Motor Company is always good, because all of Ford's family brands like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Mazda, Volvo and Land Rover build beautiful cars that are worth considering as models.
And I really like English cars too. Too bad that MG Rover has gone, but maybe they return someday and it would be great to see models of them too, but I don't believe in that...

Hello!
I don't think that there are just American cars missing. I think there are coming a lot of models with American prototypes. That's good, but there are many other underrepresented countries. Japanese (out of the Furutas), Swedish, Korean and British models are almost not existant. Good that Rietze now makes some new Suzukis. But what about the other manufacturers? So the mix of countries would make it. Yeah it's really sad with Lotus. Would love to see an Elise....

Hey Bill!
I agree with Marc. I also think that the MX-5 is one the most desirable Japanese cars. And people still pay very high prices for the Mk I model on ebay, although the Herpa's and Wiking's were almost everywhere available (at least in Germany). And yes I also think that even though there was an earlier version in 1:87 the new Mk III would sell good. I mean it's a car that has a cult status almost everywhere in the world. And many people buy e.g. the VW Golf in every version from the first to the Golf V.
But don't stop thinking about the RX-8 too. I like that car very much too. It's great. Very beautiful like almost every new Mazda (6, 3, and yes for a van the very sporty 5 too)
And note I'll take every available color ;-)
Regards
Markus

Hello Bill!
Today I drove the new Mazda Mx-5, Miata in US. It was just so great that I can't stop smiling :-)
Ricko needs to do this in 1:87, because it really deserves to exist in this scale :-) I hope that this is possible in some time...
THX and I will go on with smiling ;-)

Hello Bill!
But there will be no actual cars in the release in February?
And will there be new colors for the Alfa 147 in the future? Maybe the beautiful lightblue metallic? :-)

Hey BillC!
Thanks for your reply. It's good, that it's the street version. It looks great, I've seen it at the IAA. And today I saw the Alfa 159 on a parking lot and it's a really really beautiful car, like all newer Alfa's and yes it's really a shame, that Ricko will not deal with Alfa again :-( It could be the most beautiful 1:87 model.
Bye Markus

Hello BillC!
I've just a question about the Alfa Romeo Brera from Ricko...
Is it the version that comes to the streets these days or is it the concept version?
My favourite Ricko is still the Alfa 147. I just love it. Alfa 156 Facelift and Sport Wagon or 159 (and Sport Wagon) would be great also...but I know...they won't come :-(
THX for your reply

Oh wow, thanks for the site Bill. Well there are some real interesting cars, that are not available in Germany at the moment. The Land Rover Freelander V6, the Lexus SC430, the Gallardo in this awesome orange and the Murcielago.
Does anybody know anything about, if they will be available from Schuco or Model Power? Some have already german plates...

Hello Guys!
Now I would like to tell what I dream about ;-)
I don't know if I always put in the right years, cause in Germany it's a little bit different to USA...
1987-1991 Honda Civic (Hatch) 1991-1995 Honda Civic (Hatch, Coupé maybe the Sedan too) 2006 Honda Civic 5-door (only in Europe I think, but really cool) and the 3-door 2003 Mazda 6 (Sport Sedan, Sport Hatch und Sport Wagon) 2003 Mazda 3 (both versions) 2003 Mazda RX-8 2006 Mazda MX-5 2006 Toyota Yaris 2001 Opel Agila/Suzuki Wagon R+ 2004 Opel/Vauxhall/Holden Astra (5-door, GTC, Caravan and the new TwinTop) 2002 Rover 25 and Streetwise, MG ZR (even if the originals are gone :-( I like them) 2004 Rover 75 and Tourer, MG ZT, ZT-T 2003 MG TF 2004 Ford Focus II 2005 Fiat Grande Punto 2006 Lexus IS 2005 Lexus GS
mh...I think this is it for the moment...
But I know that most of these cars will never see the 1:87 roads...but it would be great if they would do...
