It´s a pity, but the photos on www.hadel.net don´t mean that there will be models. This site contains many themes , modelling and real cars are two of them. What they write about real cars normally hasn´t to do anything with models.

Thank you, Nick. Now I found the pictures, showing 1/1 cars, not model cars. I tried to figure out whether this company is a car dealer in Germany, and only dealing with model vehicles as a side business ? But I'm not very good in German language either, so I think some of our 1/87 German-speaking friends should try to find out what kind of a company this is.

The site is a private site of two brothers living near Bremerhaven, Germany. There are no commercial thoughts after it. Brtemerhaven harbour is the main port for car exports and imports in Germany. This is why the two brothers are able to shoot interesting pictures of rarities and the newest car models. One of the brothers is also interested in 1-87 scale vehicles of all kind. Although it is a private site it has a very professional outfit and contains real knowledge, respect to hadel.net!

only87 and Hans - thank you very much for your info regarding this site. It might be easy for those of us non-Germans to misunderstand the purpose of the site. And indeed, there is a lot of useful info and very nice car and model pictures.

I should have known that hadel.net is not a company when looking at the URL-address (.net is not commercial). Shame on me !

I took a closer look at the pictures of Herpa's new metal models in their "magic" line. The NSU TT seems to be of a different design (especially the roof line, plus it looks lower), compared with the similar Busch' model - is Herpa's version a more modern edition than Busch ? Is it a NSU TT expert around here to make his (her) opinion ? Altough the first two models in Herpa's "magic" line are not exciting, it confirms the new trend of cheap die-cast metal models in 1/87 also, and THAT is very interesting. Has anybody heard about an estimate retail price of these items ? Only the future will tell what kind of cars which will be modelled in this line.

Dear Sirs:
I gave a look to the Promotex site and they are the ones offering the cheap cars in either rubber or plaster (1955 Cadillac included).Hence,is only normal for Herpa to offer a cheap line of vehicles too. Promotex modeled-on the cheap line-a not so often reproduced vehicle:the Jeep Willys wagon.

The Geneve Motor show has began today. Will we see some new 1/87 as a promotional? The Audi A6 is known, but any surprise? Maybe a Golf V GTI by Wiking? The Altea in promo box? Or nothing...

Seat specifically requested the Altea model for the Geneva show, but my guess is that it is not ready yet. Rietze only showed a photo of the real car at the toy fair ...

Very interesting picture of the model Seat on the Geneva auto show link, but I don't think this is the same Seat that you guys are talking about in the Seat thread. ;D

It was rumored there would be a promotional model of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS. However, it looks like we will have to wait for the fall, when the real car appears in dealer showrooms, for a 1/87 scale model. (A source within DaimlerChrysler says it will be a Herpa).
The Audi Zentrum in Duesseldorf says the A6 models have not yet arrived. Anyone gotten their hands on one yet?
