Here is a couple of news from CS Train; www.miba.de/spezial/spezial/messe04/157.htmThe Skoda pick-up is only a colour variation of a well-known model, but does anybody knows something about the IMV 1000 Mini-Bus ? (What kind of make is IMV ?)

Here is a image of some of this year news from ADP; www.miba.de/spezial/spezial/messe04/102.htmThe Opel Olympia 1950 looks very good, a highly wanted model by me since Wiking's old models are so high prized now (besides being without windows). I think the red wagon is the Opel Kapitan Ambulance ?

Thanks Bjarte! The IMV (info here: auta5p.car.cz/katalog/imv/imv_04.htm) is definitely new. Nice model! I am surprised though, that the Eastern European manufacturers still find Eastern European subjects that they haven't covered yet.

I am surprised though, that the Eastern European manufacturers still find Eastern European subjects that they haven't covered yet. You are right about that Christian. Anyway, there is fun with many of the unusual Eastern European vehicles in 1/87. I have found that several of their 50s/60s buses are very like to our own built buses here in Norway from that same period I just wonder what will happen to the 1/87 hobby when these manufacturers also begins to make non-European vehicles......

Schulze and Woytnik have been around for some time, and while I don't care much for more IFAs yet again the Woytnik models are spectacular.

Dear Sirs: I checked the sites and I can say that I am excited with the Tempo pick-up and discovered manufacturers that I never heard of before.I never heard of IMV,either. Thumbs up for the Alo (Bussing) bus and the Wyotnik fire trucks! This toy fair was just great to my view...... Any more news?Up to know I am liking everything I saw................. By the way:what is known of Robus?

On the Woytnik Website you can find more of the Models. www.woytnik-modellbahntechnik.deClick on the Picture and then choose "Katalog". Most of the Models are limited to 25 Pieces.

By the way:what is known of Robus? Robus is just a mistake in spelling. It is a prototype for a newer version of the well known ex-GDR truck named Robur. However, it didn't go into production. It's a GDR "showcar", if you want to call it like that. The first sign that real prototypes of eastern vehicles not modelled in 1-87 are getting rare by now.

Reading the Nuremberg report in the newest issue of the "Modell Magazin" I found some interesting news about Brekina(they are not all confirmed, but normally this magazine is well informed about Brekina). For the German post we will have a Mercedes L5500 and -this makes the announcement of SAI sure- a Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette used by the post in the Saarland and also by the "Bundespost" and the French post. In autumn there should be the Porsche 911 (1972) (it was still spoken about on this site too) and a new Ford from the seventies (so we can guess, perhaps a Taunus?). As a special modell for the "Techno Classica" (Oldtimer fair in Essen in April) they announce an Opel P2 Coupé with detailled interior. I think all these news confirm the position of Brekina as an outstanding manufacturer.
