The trip over yesterday was very interesting in that we got to see everything down and dirty in full operaton. The open house in two weeks will be all show and tell without all the students working on projects. We are both glad that we went and will try to make it again in two weeks.

Jerry and I went to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena Ca today as we thought Tak was talking about this weekend. We found Tak's diorama in room 224 along with some of his fellow students, but no Tak. The school was in full swing with students working on their projects everywhere. The hallway have big windows looking into all the model making rooms so we could watch without being in the way. Picture taking was not allowed and words wouldn't even begin to tell all that we saw. All I'll say is that place is a model makers paradise ;D

Thanks for the invite to see your work Tak. Jerry and I will be there Saturday at high noon. We will assume that you are talking about the 1700 Lida St address and not the South Campus at 950 S Raymond Avenue

I am in total agreement with Chester. That is one fantastic model that you did. Not only is it a very well thought out and executed model but you did all the rest of the preplanning needed to build it.
(For those who aren't to quick, like me, there are eight pages with the page turner in the upper left corner. Look for the square with the H in it. To the right of the square is an arrow. Click with your mouse on the arrow to go to the next page. It only took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. ;D)

Sweet. I need to learn how to weld. Ah Skunk, that is soldering. If you got near a 1/87 model with a welding outfit --------------- instant ash... We will leave that one for Chester to do. ;D
