Dave, your models are really something to behold!! Thanks for sharing with the rest of us. Like Chester, my hand has never, ever been that study.

That traffic jamb at your opening is very impressive.

I have cast in clear resin in the past. It is a real pain and doesn't really look all that great when painted up. There is a thread on painting windows in the workbench.
As usual, Sylvain has done some more fantastic finished pieces. It's almost worth making the pieces just to see Sylvain finish them. ;D

I’ve been unfaithful to american cars (sorry Lee, Jerry, Joe and Stephen ). No need at all to be sorry Sylvain. All of us enjoy watching a true master craftsman at work, no matter what the piece is that he is working on. Thank you for sharing the photos of your latest masterpieces with us. Also thank you for the great reviews of each of the models. Great work, my friend.

Hey Sylvain!! When you get caught up and have some free time, how about doing an editorial about painting and detailing? Maybe even better would be to do an "in progress" with step by step photos being as you are very good with both the detailing and the camera. ;D Jerry and I have talked many times about sending Sylvain a solid block of resin and telling him just remove the unwanted material. Oh, and the keys are under the mat.

Poor Sylvain. I can remember when Sylvain was looking for new models to finish and was unhappy when he got one or two kits behind. In another thread he states he is now 40 kits behind. That must be driving poor Sylvain right up the wall.
Maybe it's time to send Sylvain another "package" ;D

I think now you guys are beginning to understand why I am so willing to give one of every new model that Cutter does to Sylvain. His painting really is out of this world.

I am finding it well worth sending the models to Sylvain just to see his superb finishing of them. Love to see an artist at work

Chester, how do you get your camera so low. I have to turn my camera upside down to get that kind of photo. BTY - Even though my camera has a timer, I never thought to use it. It would be interesting to see your camera setup reflexed in a mirror.

Herka? The 87thscale.info website lists Herka as being in Canada so Eric knows they exist but doesn't seem to have any information on them. If you have a catalog or brochure from them, scan and forward to Eric so he can post it for the rest of us. Thanks..........

Chester, you forgot to mention the super fantastic job of weathering that you did to bring it to life. Talk about making a silk purse out of a pig's ear.........................
