considering that the whole front of that scene is about one inch wide, your work is really fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

Really looks great Chester. I bought one a year ago and just threw it in the drawer without doing anything with it. You have a fantastic imagination in that you can see the possibilities in something.

No pressure here Lee. I stand by patiently waiting to see what comes next. The Sistine Chapel ceiling wasn't painted in a day. It wasn't? I wonder how many days it did take? Just think about what they could have done if they had air brushes. ;D

Thanks for the side by side Lee, it's very helpful. It looks to me as though the overall height of the hood is creating the problem on the model. This doesn't look like an easy fix, but then we've seen what kind of miracles Jerry can perform. Your welcome. Poor Jerry. Everyone seems to want him to do something for them. The problem is everyone wants something different done. The Chevy is in the works, but when it will be done is unknown at this time. So much to do and so little time to do it. Poor Jerry.....

There does seem to be a little difference between the two One is old and weathered and the other is shiny and new. ;D We hear you Jack. We have the braces on the grill and are in process of stretching it.

Your craftsmanship alone makes it worthwhile for my belonging to this message board. Love what you did with the shovel. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Fantastic piece of craftsmanship. All it needs is a glass dome to keep the dust off.

Chester, I don't know which you are better at. Model building or painting. You are doing a fantastic job in both departments. I love the way you weather everything.

Your attention to detail is becoming remarkably good. I love the door being ajar. Everything is looking so real. Thanks for sharing again.

I see a number of models using chain instead of cable. Does anyone have a picture of a real tow truck using chain? I have yet to find one. All I ever see is cable.

Send your empty bic lighters to Chester. He has found a profitable use for them. ;D That 1930's Mack tanker sold for $61.00 and the Roco Zis for $66.00 on eBay. You are going to break that $100.00 mark yet, Chester.

I'll chunky you Skunk. It looks perfect the way it is. BTW, Chester has more pieces on eBay. His opening prices are more in keeping with the quality of the pieces.

Beautiful, beautiful work!! You are a true craftsman Chester. Those axles in the kit are nice castings but wouldn't hold all that weight for long. They would make nice junk parts for the corner of the shop.
