Well, I know they are making a "Duff Beer" VW T1b van. For those of you who don't follow American TV, Duff Beer is a fictitious brand featured on the popular animated series, "The Simpsons."
This model will be a "must-have" for me!

Hi there: Yep, Bill, I think I'll have to have a Duff Beer van too. It would be even better as a semi with Hillary Duff advertising it on the sides. LOL.
Some microbrewery around here makes a Duff Premium beer.

Harry, I checked and the Brekina van has the same "logo" as the cartoon. Someone in Teningen has a sense of humor...

A sense of humor is good; Bill, you can recall the old days when scratchbuilding cardboard structures was about the only way to go in O and S trains. I forget the guy who did them for RMC; but, his commercial buildings and factories always had those humorous names like, "Hamm & Burger" sausage works, etc.

Original posted by jansch (m) Senior gebruiker in www.ho-modelautoclub.nl/ Message: re: What is the great surprice from Brekina??? | Posted on: 29-06-2007 00:05 Now it's annouced in a German Magazine, so we can confirm it over here as well: There is a Fiat 2300 Coupé coming from Brekina. No BIG (Truck) surprice but a very beautiful one! By accident we were able to see a pre production model in Neurenberg ("O.K. but keep your mouth shut for now and NO no photographes yet"). The model comes from Drummer as well as the Fiat 1100. There comes a summer edition but not until autumn! Jan

A Fiat 2300 Coupe is probably the last model I ever expected in 1:87 - it even beats the Ford Tempo.
I can't WAIT to see this model, if it is even halfway decent I will probably also vote for it as model of the year. Or model of the decade, for that matter. Until Herpa makes the 1980s Maserati Quattroporte in Brilliant quality, that is.

Hello: The model will be good addition to Brekina range but why is it companies are thinking more and more of less expected models? It seems to me that less thought about vehicles are more desirable now? regards
