I’ve seen a few months ago another MPC model which seem to me really near HO scale, a 1960 Corvair. I will try to find it. Sounds good! I'd really like to see a Corvair in 1/87, especially after a "treatment" by Joe. His '59 Rambler is superb. ;D

Bjarte and I will be collaberating on a couple of projects, including the Corvair
All I can say is that this message board has introduced me to a number of really nice people with the same interests.
It is becoming a springoboard for many projects.
Thanks to all
Joe

A Corvair sounds interesting to me as well, even though I am not (by any stretch of the imagination) an American car buff.
I believe that other Euros like the Corvair as well, and cannot believe there has been no good model available yet!
Are you producing the 4-door, 2-door, coupé, convertible - or are you planning on a whole series, if the first one turns out well?

Dear Sirs: Good luck on the Corvair.I hope the Corvair Station Wagon and van is part of your projects (no one molded the latter).

Bjarte has made a wagon and a sedan, I am going to cast both and then modify as required.
I was thinking about doing a Corvair van, but I think I am going to try a Ford Econoline first. The Minix Ford van is a great base.

I've got to say that my fave recent models have to be from Brekina:
Volvo 122S Alfa Romeo Giulia Peugeot 404 Wartburg 311
I also think that Wiking's Volvo 544 is pretty nice, and really like Herpa's Trabant sedan and wagon, plus their 1966 Wartburg 353.

I was thinking about doing a Corvair van, but I think I am going to try a Ford Econoline first. Those have already been on my wishlist for a long time as well. Is there any (American) car you wouldn't do? Thanks to your great and ever-expanding line of kits I have some trouble finding new US car projects for my own production.

I would rather see two of the same type of vehicle manufactured rather than none. But I know what you mean, Joe is doing a great job of pushing everyone else like we pushed him into keeping going. Keep up the great work Joe.

Since I'm a truck nut with a penchant for vintage, I would like to put my 2 pesos in with a vote for Athearns Ford C cab. It's so good I can't bring myself to do anything to it. Not my favorite truck, however. With Busch's Power Wagon a close second.

Thanks Lee. In terms of what I would not do
I am just plain tired of:
57 chevy 57 t-bird any corvette any mustang Ford Model A
It just seems like they are available in every possible scale.
