Being a Lotus fan, I'm always hoping that someone will produce some high quality models of the Norfolk maker. Spark makes a few great ones including the Exige, but it leaves me wanting more. I found these on Ebay: Suntory Lotus models, in particular an Exige, Elise and 2005 Europa. Comparing them to the Spark Exige, they are slightly larger, perhaps 1/84. They are pull back toys with a reasonable degree of detail. The set includes a Lotus Esprit which at a quick glance looks slightly smaller than the Miber Esprit. The Evora is nice and looks about right but I'll have to scale these out. Overall, not bad for the price. The other models are not good. www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250936054336

The other models are not good. www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250936054336I may be the only one on this thread who cares, but here are the dimensions of the cars in the set: - Lotus Evora - real 4342 mm, model 47 mm, scale - 1/92
- Lotus Elite - real 4460, model 47, scale 1/95
- Lotus Europa (2008?) - real 3900, model 46, scale 1/85
- Lotus Elise - real 3785, model 46, scale 1/82
- Lotus Esprit Turbo - real 4330, model 47, scale 1/96
I compared the Esprit to the Miber Esprit (albeit different models) and they compare very well so the Miber must be slightly out of scale. The other models, Lotus Elan S1, Elan S3 and 1974 Europa are way to big to be close to 1/87.

I may be the only one on this thread who cares Not anymore, thanks for the news. Meanwhile, I have discovered that there are two more series of models, namely Lamborghini and Jaguar/Land Rover (thanks Peter!). I don't have any of those models yet. If anyone gets them, let us know what you think of the size and proportions.

Actually, when I first discovered your post, Marc, I was looking exactly for that kind of information since I had just received my Lotus set that day. Since I am more interested in the older prototypes here are my thoughts on them.
Lotus Esprit: Much better than the Miber model in every aspect expext for the black glazing, wheels and interior. Scale is around 1/92 (4330/47).
Lotus Europa S1: Lenghtwise almost 1/87, but the problem is the pullback mechanism wanting to fit under the body, so the height is way out of scale giving the model an awkward overall look.
Lotus Elite (1958): Scales out at 1/80, nice model overall, only the rear wheel arches aren't prototypical. I'll try to make a true 1/87 resin kit out of this one.
Lotus Elite (1974): Sadly much too small, around 1/95, the big wheels make it look very toyish.
The Land Rover / Jaguar consists of 6 models: Range Rover Vogue Range Rover Discovery 4 Land Rover Defender 90 Jaguar XJ Jaguar E-Type S3 2+2 Jaguar XJ12
Most of the models are scaled around 1/92, but the XJ12 and the Defender are very true to 1/87, the compare very good with the Herpa and Roco models. The XK-E is scaled around 1/80. Proportions are good to very good, but the overall black appearance makes it hard to appreciate the detail.
The Lamborghini set has a few highlights but in general these are toyish models. Most of the prototypes have been made as good 1/87 models, so I'll focus just on four models.
Urraco: Scales out perfectly at 1/87 with superb proportions and detail. The only letdowns are the black glazing (printed on) and the rear wheel-arches. 350 GT: About 3 mm too short but the rest scales out very good. Miura: Same problem as the GT, nice detail, one could turn them into serios models by cutting and stretching them. Jota: Very toyish proportions, too short, too wide, crude detail.

Yes, disappointing that the older Lotus Elite model is too large. I also agree the Esprit is much better oveall than the Miber model. I guess we will just have to wait for someone (Spark, Brekina?) to properly make some 1/87 older (or new) Lotus models.
Interesting news about the Urraco and 350 GT. I will have to look for these.

The 1974 Lotus Elite is the biggest disappointment for me, but there's always Neo. I will have to get the Urraco and Defender, but I don't necessarily want to buy the entire sets.

Landrover Defender 110 is "announced" by Busch for Nürnberg. Hello Hakan! That's some time ago. Yeah, I have been at Wikipedia a lot. I was trying to find something out about the Mazda Porter three years ago, realized I had additional information and have spent all of my spare energy there since... The Defender 110 is overdue, marvelous news. Busch must have noticed how much an old Roco 109 goes for these days!

Progress of sorts. Will remain for a while yet. Do you actually speak Swedish or is it the almighty Google translate? Your entries at Mötesspåret make perfect sense.

I've bought and received two 202 by SV Modèles. Models are in resin, available as kits, but I've bought them built. Here they are: SV 004 Peugeot 202 Berline découvrable ouverte SV 005 202 Peugeot Cabriolet fermé Modes are very nice, and incredibly nicely built.
