Dear All:
This time, a Furuta Toyota Publica Sports 800. I know, scale varies, but I do like these items.
Came from the same source (BHOH); some more being hunted by me.

Dear all, this days I got a 1993 Ladder Pierce Lance from DelPrado (Bohemia fire Dept.). It´s a real nice model described as 1:87, but for me it looks too big, especially in width. Anyone knows more about this? Beside of this it is high detailed and very good painted model with very fine decals. nick

Dear All:
This time, I found is at the 'liquidation' spot - Nissan Germany HO model of a Nissan Primera. Only $2.00 for that. I won an EKO Barreiros Tractor Tanker Trailer Campsa. I also received - from someone else other than BHOH - a GMC old look solid plastic model which was issued at the Ford Museum, all green. Supposed to be Rosa Park's bus. There was another interesting piece, but not here.
And it keeps adding...........

I've received yesterday one of Nick's (Nickvosges) kits, a '64 Ford Coupe. A car a like a lot, and a well done model I think. Thanks again, Nick!
Now I must find the time to build it… ;D

I've received yesterday 3 CMC kits form Jerry, and 3 Superba kits from Joe. Jerry's kits are a '40 Studebaker President Sedan, a '50 Studebaker Sedan and a '52 Nash Ambassador Sedan. The 3 models, all in solid cast resin, are fine and very well cast, but I especially like the '52 Nash, a very interesting car and very well done by Jerry. Joe's kits, all hollow castings in resin, are a '58 Edsel Bermuda Station-wagon, a '57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser and a '56 Packard Carriibean Coupe. I'm very happy to get these 3 ones, especially Edsel and the Packard, and Joe's castings of these 3 cars need to be cleaned, but are rather neat.

Today I received 3 kits from Nick Voges: the 70 Monte Carlo, 70 Buick GSX, and the 47 Chev Fleetmaster. All are to scale and neatly done. I so much hope to find time for modeling.

Dear All:
I wanted this piece for a good while, I got it, but not from BHOH: EHEIM Trolleybus. Very cool piece. In the process of winning Welly's Volkswagen Van, too.

Received the Golf VI GTD. The only problem is that Wiking has not changed the exhausts. The real GTD has two at the left side, while the GTI has one on each side. I wonder if in the real car would be possible to adapt the GTI exhauts. Then in 1/87 we could say that we have a tuned GTD.

Today I received my order of the Ricko Lexus RX350. After my initial release of 12 I will definitely be getting quite a few more and I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches 20. Even though it took way too long to reach the US, it was worth it and I can only hope that 3 new colors will come with the Lexus. Thanks to Ricko for a job well done and I hope it's not the last Lexus from them.

Dear All:
What I can say, it finally is here.
I was informed that (and it looks right on size when put close to Busch Dodge Monaco) Budgie's Oldsmobile Town Sedan is an HO version; I been wanting this piece since 2004. On eBay, when it would show, high bids and prices. This year, BHOH had one, and I did went as up as $100.00, but it went away (to someone else) at $130.00. Last week, this gent had one - with some scratches on the passanger side - for $8.00, buy it now. I did so, and today I received it. What I can say, after nearly six years, I have it and it looks good. Oh, let me add that is the sole miniature (yet) of this subject - most Oldsmobile miniatures deals with 442's. Nice little item, and is 1/87 scale.
BHOH also has very interesting stuff at their discount section. A while ago, I found some NASCAR racers (with keychains and all, mostly 1999's Ford Taurus but there was a Pontiac Gran Prix on the middle of these) and some 4 - door sedan racers, but since I was in a hurry, just grab the bunch they had and went on my way.
When I finally went on my purchase, the surprise: the 4 - door sedans are Ford Falcons and Holdens, from the Australian Carectable Collection; they represent the Racers from the Bathurst event, and as with the NASCAR collectbles, info are given about the Racers. Nice items and a very nice surprise as well! Thank you, BHOH! That is the first time that I got this many (more than six) Australian Cars at once, in 1/87, and at a very reasonable price ($1.00 each).
Now I have to concentrate on the new releases.
The Welly Volkswagen Van I won is my first Welly in 1/87 scale in the Manufacturer's - Welly - own box. This Hong Kong dealer has some more, including the Skoda Sedan. They are auctioned at $ .01 each, plus a reasonable shipping, so I will grab some more.

I’ve received lately many American models, mostly kits, so here they are. Fist, two of Sylvan Scale ’46 Plymouth, the 4-door sedan (V104) and the 2-door Coupe (V105). The two kits are in resin, hollow cast, with interiors and additional details. Nice kits, as always. Then, some of Jerry latest. He has already shown them on the Cutter’s Miniature Cars topics, so you all know how nice they are. My favorites here are the ’53 Mercury and the ’55 Hudson. 1946 Packard Clipper Sedan (095) 1958 Packard Hawk (066) 1950 Oldsmobile Station-Wagon (101) 1948 Chrysler New Yorker coupe (062) 1953 Mercury Monterey Sedan (088) 1953 Mercury Monterey Hardtop (089) 1953 Mercury Station-Wagon (090) 1955 Hudson Hollywood Hardtop (106) 1955 Mercury Custom Coupe (085) 1955 Mercury Monterey Hardtop (082) 1955 Mercury Monclair Hardtop (083) 1955 Mercury Sun Valley Hardtop (084) The last ones are Road Ragers Ford. I’ve bought three of them, the Ford 1960 XK Sedan (R019 - grey and white), the Ford 1962 XL Wagon (R021 - green and white), and the Ford 1964 XM Coupe (R023 - red). The three models are in metal, with plastic interiors and windows. To my point of view, they’re rather nice, and the bodylines of the 3 cars seem to be well reproduced. Tires can be separated from the plastic wheels, and white tires are clean. The interiors are rather well detailed, all different, with the “baquet” seats (I don’t know the word in English…) for the Coupe for example. As skunk said some weeks ago, the models can be easily dismantled, as the body is screwed to the chassis, but the glazing is unfortunately riveted to the roof of the car. For my part, I’m going to modify these 3 cars to make them looks like American Ford Falcon. I think all three are very similar to American prototypes, but if you look at the evolution of the grill, the model year and some details of the trim are different. From what I’ve understood, I believe that… - The Australian Ford 1960 XK Sedan is very similar to the American Ford Falcon Sedan of the same year, 1960,but the model was not available in the States with the arrow design on the sides. - The Australian Ford 1962 XL Wagon is very similar to an American Ford Falcon Station-Wagon of 1961, only the “FORD” name on the hood was written with larger letters on the American version. - The Australian Ford 1964 XM Coupe is very similar to an American Ford Falcon Futura Sport Hardtop Coupe, or Sprint maybe. The main difference is this time again the side trim, a sort of chromed arrow on the American version, shorter and lower on the sides than on the Australian version. Here are the models on the first step of the modifications: the inaccurate chromed trims have been removed, next step will be modifying the interior.

Dear All:
I wanted mostly the Simca Chambord from this series, but I like them - crude and all. Circa 90 MPC 2 inch models, with Corvairs, Larks, Falcons, Tempests, Renault Dauphines, 1961 Continentals and many more added to it. I been collecting these on and off; thus far, they did the only miniature I know of an 4 - door Aero Ace (Willys) sedan; not present in the batch I received, but I have these. I have the same feelings as the Gentleman who wrote about MPCs on the Manufacturers section. Two Simcas on the batch I received; both blue. Duplicates of Jeeps, El Caminos and Volvo PVs Coupe.
