A few things here today. First a reminder that Jordan products sells all of their wheel sets at $1 per set and $1 shipping no matter how many sets you get. Got several sets as well as a few kits. Second, a real surprise from a modeler I met on another forum. The Volvo PV4s from Tekno- Bygg that is a unique cast metal and photo etched brass kit. The body, seats and several other parts actually done in the photo etched material with fenders, roof and wheel/tires in cast metal. Nice castings and p.e. detail (even the gauges in the dashboard). Lastly a fresh supply of paints.

Great kit, where did you find it? And where you can get the wheel sets, I never have seen them separated. nick

Nick, Wheelsets from Jordan available on request. You may write to them (no web site or email addresses) or place an order to this address:
Jordan Products PO Box 644 Brighton, MI 48116
From the letter I received back from them: "Wheels sets from each kit are $1.00 per set except kits 228 & 237 which are $2.00 per set. All prices are post paid in the U.S. and Canada. Other countries please include $5.00 for shipping on any order.Include payment in U.S. funds with your order. We do not accept credit cards."
So correct my post above, no shipping costs in the U.S. and Canada. They accept personal checks. You must give the kit number from which the wheel sets come that you want.
Cor, Looks like they finish into a nice model. Must sharpen my soldering skills.

Thanks for the photos (and especially the comparison), Sylvain. It's a good model, but as you said on forum-auto the printed decor is not an ideal solution. I also think that the Coupe looks more "organic" somehow. On the other hand, CMW has come a long way and you can clearly see an evolution (hood ornament!).

In fact, about the printed decor, perhaps it means, as Nico thinks on the forum, that CMW plans to do another version of Ford's '53 4-door Station-Wagon, the "Country Sedan", which had no wood panels on the sides.

It does look improved. The glaring difference I noticed is the glass fit (no pun intended). Grille and bumpers seem to be less toy like and the head/tail lights look more appropriate. Those comparison photos show important differences, thanks Sylvain.

So I need some extra Station wagons to improve the sedans.

I haven't bought many models in the last four months, but a package arrived today. I received my first NEO models (Capri and Audi RS2). Nicely done except for the wheels. Others: - Spark Aston Martin V8 Roadster 2007, Porsche 956 LM '84 and Bugatti 57 G LM '37 (exceptional as always)
- 2011 Herpa Audi A6
- 2011 Herpa Mercedes Benz SLK (love the model, not sure about the restyling)
- Atlas (Welly) Land Rover Defender in proper 1/87 scale.
I also managed to win on eBay a BS Design Alfa Romeo F1 and Evrat Benneton-Camel markings. The big disappointment from those bids however was losing the 1980's Evrat JPS Lotus and Evrat Ligier.

"Matchbox Hendrickson Semi Tractor with Double Van Trailers"
Awesome. When I was a kid collecting 49 cent Matchbox in the 1960s the semi was the most expensive small scale item in the catalog by far. I think it was $50. If not, it seemed that way.
