Wow Stanhas, u sure do ur homework! I'm curious, where can u buy welly 1/64 scaled cars? they are the same size of mathcbox and hotwheels cars right? I go to wal-mart but they don't have welly cars, well probably larger scaled. There are so many cars being released that i had no idea they exist. Its too bad that u can't buy tomica cars in usa though! X(

Dear Perez:
This is the deal with Welly:
They want a say, dealer - to buy $8000.00 worth of a single model in order to distribute, sell or make business with their models. Consequently, dealers or major stores only pick up their larger models in order to meet the $8000.00 requirement quickly. At times, 1/64 leftovers from the factory or selected dealers end up at eBay, and yeah, I know, the final price with shipping / handling will add ten times to the vehicles worth, so is one's decision if they want to pick up these vehicles at all. I also should add that some models, such as the GMC Yukon is very - and I mean very - difficult to get; I got mine via a member from another Forum who lives in Poland!! Other difficult models to find are the 2000 Impala and Civilian Ford Crown Vic (I do not have the latter - yet).
So, if you want to make the extra expense, go to eBay, type Welly 1/60 and see what is avaliable. Prior to 1998, Wellys were avaliable at Walgreens, under their Speed Wheels brand.
There was a dealer of Tomicas in New York City; I do not know if he is still active. On eBay, this Gentleman from Thailand has a fair amount of them for sale (obsolete and current ones).

Hey Stanhas, u sure do ur homework! im very darn curious to know here i can buy welly cars that are the same size of hotwheels (1/64)? I go to walmart, but hey mostly got 1/43 scales type. Also i'm very excited about the new line up for mathcbox. I really like the cadillac deville, it reminds me when i was a kid around the 80's. The impreza police car looks cool and agressive!. I can't wait!

Dear All:
Macy's bought the F.A.O. Schwartz Toy department to be their toy section, at least in Burbank. Therephore, they are the single store who has Sikus for sale. The ones found are:
Scale 1/50: 4115 Magirus Deutz Auxiliary Fire Tender.
Scale 1/55: 2542 Porsche Cayenne with Caravan Trailer. 2544 Porsche Cayenne with Flat bed Trailer with a new Porsche Carrerra in it. 3731 - American School Bus - Freightliner, with an undoubtly Thomas Built Body on it.
I spoke with one of the workers and there are perspectives that more will be bought. To be seen.
