If only 120 models were made, was I lucky finding two C2 in a modelshop in Barcelona? Let´s see if someone find the "7 differences" comparing the old and the new Norev Citroën.

Citroën C4!
The C4 is a very good looking car and I am happy to see it in H0. That said, I would also like to see some other brands' made by Norev. If they want to stick to French models that's OK, the Scenic or Espace would look very natural in any diorama.
Or maybe something more esoteric. A Venturi, or a Facel Vega... why not a Citroën GS or a SM? Both are models I imagine would sell very well in France.
I guess that Norev are experiencing the same problems as German manufacturers: a need for financial support from car companies in order to develop good models.
Anyhow, it is very good to see a non-German company breaking into the market, with all the possibilities of new and exciting machinery that this entails.

Oh, I am sure that Venturi has gobs of money lying around, just waiting to be spent.
Supposedly their newest car is electric - I cant say that sounds to promising for their future.
Best of all would be a Hommell Berlinette Echappement. Yum. Maybe next Nürnberg?

Dear Sirs:
I will try to get some of this Norev cars via eBay. I know this person from France who sells all kinds of Norevs. I liked the older ones and the newer versions are very exciting too. Citroen C4 is at the top of the list; so is their new version of their van.

I did not know where to talk about it, so, after all, it seems the easiest place… I went to a model shop this week end and the seller has showed me a picture of the Norev's future C4 Coupes and sedans on 1/87th scale. I only had a quick look at it (too bad I had not my camera with me) but the models look rather nice and well detailed, seems to me. The C4 Coupe in yellow looks I think particularly nice. He confirmed the models will be available in january or february. By the way, he explained me the strange disapperance of some Norev's 1/87th models by a misunderstanding in the number of models ordered between Norev and the company which build the models for Norev (a bad chinese translation? ). This would be explained by the way the models were packed. Let's hope it won't happen again…

Dear Sirs:
As I already noted, the C4 and C5 wagon is avaliable in 1/64 already. It is exciting o know thatl the C4 will be molded in 1/87. Norev is doing a spetacular job in all of their scale models.
I also hope that such incidents as Sylvian described above do not happen again. This is one the problems that can happen when dealing with the Chinese.

Dear Sirs:
And the seller who has the C4 accepts Pay Pal and sends to the rest of the world. Perfect. Took note of his (eBay) name.

Stupid me....... That was of course the Peugeot 206 WRC, but there are more Club Total-models including the Xsara WRC. Still wondering if they are really 1/87? Anyone? JanS

Hello Jan, I looked on the site of ClubTotal. They offer their customers several Norev-modelcars, but they have all a length of 7-8cm. So probably these are 3inches cars. So I think the 206 WRC won´t be a 1/87 model too, even if it isn´t offered at the moment at the Total-site.

Hans, thanks; I agree, they look to be bigger than 1/87. Why is it that so many people on ebay get the scales wrong? JanS

The explanation is simple: they don't look here!
