No new toys!! Just the same old concrete pumper and cranes which I have already posted photos of. Here is a pan looking west: and a pan looking east: A closer look at the ramps. The bottom one goes down to the bottom level. The second one will go up to the third level which is now being built. I'm just not sure at this time if this is a three or four floor basement garage. A shot showing the the soil anchors being readied for the outside wall. And the first steel above street level:

A pan shot looking East: Note the taller columns than were used on the other two parking levels. A close up showing the outline for the ramp going down into the garage from the outside: Another pan shot. This time looking West: Yep!, They are pouring (pumping) concrete again. Here is the operator of the pump boom: And various shots of the operation:

Here is a panshot looking East. Note the form work for the driveway on the right side. They are now in the process of putting up the forms for the ground floor of the building.

First a couple of shots of a crane sitting on the site: Now a pan shot looking East. Note the rebar at the front. When this wall is poured/blown with concrete, that will end my ability to get any kind of shots from this end. And a shot looking West: They are getting ready to pour the ground floor. Note the difference in floor elevations. The center will be the courtyard. Here is a picture of the model looking West showing the courtyard. And a picture of the backside of the model showing the entrance to the underground parking.

It appears the model of the building is (or near)1/87th scale judging by the vehicles seen in the last two pictures.
Wonder what will happen to it when their done with it? Richard O.

I am not sure what the target completion date is. Probably sometime Spring 2008 would be my guess.

First a couple of shots "off site" The first is something that I have seen in drawings but never in person. The second was taken over at the big construction site. They are installing another concrete pumping station: Now to the site. This is the West end with the forms in place for all that rebar shown earlier: Moving around a bit, but at the same place. Note the forms for the "ground level" patio. One of the beams at ground level being formed: And the East end showing the "ground level" patio. Being this is a "vehicle" message board, I have to throw in a couple of shots of them once in a while. A pair of air compressors: A back hoe, which we shall see more of: Looking down the length of the patio from the East end: A little different shot of the back hoe: A fork lift with some detail shots: Here is the front of the back hoe: Now this has me stumped!! What you are seeing is a sloping floor. The top of the wall at the left, 2/3 the way up the picture is horizontal.

Lots of prep work going into the ground floor before pouring the concrete. Here is a pan shot of the Northwest corner. Note the three floor or pond drains installed. 2049

They are still putting in the rebar for the ground floor. It looks like they may be pouring a section on the North side later this week. The first pan is taken at the Northwest corner looking East showing the front entrance: The second pan is taken from the Northeast corner looking West: Not much in the way of vehicles today. Here they are loading the scrap rebar And some equipment setting in the rear: I almost took a picture of a wheelbarrow, I was getting so desperate for some equipment to shoot. If you look in the background of the second pan photo you will see a crane in the distance (about three blocks away) so I went for a walk. This is the big construction project called American on Brand. Jerry hates the name. ;D Count the cranes: Strange construction combination. Wood on top of concrete and steel: Quick..... there goes a load. And parked across the street: Just in time to watch three trucks with cables arrive: 2095 I probably could stand here all day and get all kind of truck pictures. but time to go get something to eat.........
