Not an available model; but, very easy to kitbash using Jordon's 1940s FORD Transit Bus which is what this started out as before being modified by Crown Coach in Los Angeles. Cut the top off the Jordan bus, add some stainless fluting and fully finish the interior. The Jordon bus has a full interior seating easily paintable to look sharp as this 'convertible bus'. s258.photobucket.com/albums/hh280/swampdaddy_01/ and you can find the image of this tourist bus. Hi all: After trying for several years to get some of the SDV buses (Czech firm) though various US dealers but having them all fail to deliver, I found that there is now mail service direct from the manufacturer. SDV now has an on line shop, go to www.sdvmodel.cz/and click the eShop button, also change the currency to US$ or Euros. Prices by default are given in Czech Republic Korunys, currently 1 CZK = .0589629 US$. Easier to have the prices posted in dollars by clicking the button. Be prepared for high postage charges to the US. they have dozens and dozens of buses. Karosa motorbuses. And about seven different paint schemes on a Skoda 21Tr trolleybus models. I've finally ordered several buses for my collection. The firm also offers dozens of military and civilian trucks. Quite an extensive catalog to look through. Finally they are easily available in the US. have fun, Swamp Daddy

CAN ANYONE HELP? I want to try to make a paper model of the 1927 Twin Coach Model 40 transit bus. Does anyone have the dimensions of the real thing -OR- the St. Petersburg Tram 1:43 model? All I need is LENGTH, WIDTH, HEIGHT, WHEELBASE.

Arrived yesterday were my two SDV Skoda 21 Tr trolleybus models. I will post photos as soon as I can locate my cheap digital camera which once again has gone into hiding.
That is very quick service from overseas.

Just as a heads up for the group but the open top version in the NYC Grayline scheme is also in the pipeline as are more north american coaches from Awesome Diecast.

For all you bus lovers here is a new (to me) company: Veit Kornberger Modellbahn www.vkmodelle.de/seiten/busse.htmllink is for the bus page; all are the same 18m Solaris articulated bus with different roof pods (depending on the drive of the prototype) and painted in liveries for different cities. Included are two trolleybus versions for route 3 & 4 in Salzburg. Have yet to find the prices page; but, I saw one on EBay for 60 Euros ( which I don't have) which started my search for the company. Dear All:
I visited Truck Stop Models and noticed that there are several different models of Van Hool Coaches and in different liveries. The one that called my attention was the Double Decker Coach with Megabus markings. I will be getting them all. I also found a Siku miniature of an articulated bus.

The Siku articulated is a very plain, almost low quality model. It lacks most external details; but, the price was so cheap at TSM that I bought a couple anyway.

Dear Harry:
Yeah, I agree with you, but the shape and price are right, so will be several for me. Also hunting for Wiking buses - all different liveries I can put my hands on.

Can any member give me the name of a manufacture that produces California Amtrak buses?

Dear Jerry:
The Holland Otto Van Hool bus is correct to spot Amtrack livery, but as far as I know, no one is doing this livery as of now, HO or 1/50. Let's see what Harry has to say. I would be happy if Holland Otto would paint their Van Hools with the Amtrack livery, since I see these every day.
