Sorry 50scars, dont be angry of me If you pay more for fuel than for milk like we doo in europe, you will learn to houshold with recources. Public transportation is here no more just given by the goverment, it works like a independend business and it will bee profitable. One mile per gallon is far away from wat we call economicly. We use lightweight busses with modern engines. They work with biogas, electricety or newest electonic stuff witch keep the consume deep. And specialy in Switzerland, we have a trainsystem witch grow up since over 150 years together with the population. Its not easy to explain, but we have allways the right transportation system witch is needed in each area. My center town is called Aarau with a population of 17000 (Yes, thats big over here ;D) The surburban has 13 villages with 1000-5000 citicens each, witch are connected by busses. For the villages in the hills we use coaches from the Post (Yellow Coaches). For the valley villages we have 2 small trainlines. Finaly for the east/west connection to the big citys we have the national train companie (SBB/CFF). Taxis are some here too, but they are werry expensive . Of corse, we use mostly our own car but a lot people uses the system for going to work. We dont cruise often around with the car. We are going to a nice place and walk ore hike around. Or better we visit a nice restaurant

Herpa is one of the reason of our problems! They have made a lot of good things for our hobby. But, do you collecting dozens of different colors of any model? Brekina has made over 1000 !! different VW Typ 1 ! I am the only one that find that boring? My first Herpa was a kit of 8 pices. Later , the models are sold built. So the price riced up. Finaly the Ferrari F40 got 54 pices! Ok for one model a year. But today an ordinary modell has the same price. The making of a new produkt ist too high. Herpa had the chance to stop this: Overtake Monogram. Relaunch a collection with again 8 pices. With the today colloring and printings- fantastic views for me! But we now, they start to pay licences for using brands! (BMW) I definitly hate it to pay for a brand!!!!

Theres still enough carbage on the market. Ricko`s triangle between exotic cars, streetware and ancient jewels is nearby perfect. I like the finnish most.

I hope Ricko is pushing all the other modellmaker to wake up and make more good models for the collectors around the world. I have enough of just different colors.

OK- Was just a idea... I dont understand the clima anymore. Greece has more snow this season than switzerland-All countrys around us have more snow! I mean ,i remember the time snow was not seen as a problem at all. If theres too much snow, so let the car at home! Now we have only icy streets and the drivers have ABS; they are allways save

L.A. must be a strange place to life there. In Simi Valley a tiger is trying to escape out of town! I hope the rain has a end soon, and Cutter`s crew find a dry place again! For the architects: Hang your houses under a Zeppelin.
