Okay guys, time for some answers: Masterpiece is looking into some English cars (no, not Armstrong-Siddley) but it is very difficult. They either get no response, the run-around or demands for outrageous license fees. However, the search goes on... Great idea from Masterpiece! Now we can start guessing which models they will produce for us! Will it be a really old one like the Lincoln? Or a '60th car? I'd like a real old Vauxhal as well as the '60-'70 models (Victor Cresta) exept the Opel lookalikes. Lotus would be great too. And Wolsley..... I can go on for a while. There is hardly anything in HO yet! ;D ;D Cor.

I would estimate that in a few weeks, you will be hearing about some new models. Some blanks on my list will be filled in. Oh, and a brand-new model that only one of you knows about will be ready for shipment late next month... Great, but we are still waiting for the first models. I hope Busch will deliver them soon now!

Dear All, Hi. Well, this thread is now nearly converting into a wish list and as always, very happy to donate when a wish list is being offered/rumoured. However, note early days with Masterpiece and future project announcements, so thoughts kept to a top 3 - from this part of the UK - for British cars are:- 1. Ford Lotus Cortina Mark I (must be a prospective good seller!) 2. Jenson Interceptor 3. Hillman Hunter (even the Iranians built these!) or Avenger (would tie in nice with the new Dodge Avenger as a 2 pack!) Thanks for now and like the idea of a Austin 1100 - PCS2911 - perhaps an estate will come with a figure of Basil Fawlty (Fawlty Towers TV fame) Cheers, Gary Put these models on the "wish-list"!

Most of the good brands (Alvis, Riley) belong to BMW, right? I want an Armstrong-Siddeley! I want two of them!

About the Drummer Fiat 1100...
It would help if they add the ribs on the C-style and, of course put a real Fiat grille in it.

There was also a Triumph TR3, or better is...they are still available. Jes and Automobilia did made a "transkit" to upgrade the model. Also still available. (From me for instance) You also can make it a TR 3a with this kit. See www.automobilia.deBut Please go to a Herpa tread with this.....

It's funny!
We, in Europe, are lobbying for decennia to get more not German models and now we get them the Germans want more German models. I think they don't have to wait as long as we to get them. This because the manufacturers are mostly German too! I still hope that, at least Brekina, will continue to bring more "foreign" models. It's a pity that Herpa do that mainly in the Magic series, witch are qulitative less as the normal Herpa's. Lucky they did the Volvo, Moskvits and Volga in the normal serie. I see that as a try out after the sucesses from Brekina with older types. But also Brekina don't forget his homemarket. Lots of beautiful new Opels for instance. And the Fiat 1100 was also made in Germany, remember?
I think the Gemans have no reason to complaint and neather have we!

The 700 is done by Herpa Magic! But indeed the 2000CS might be a good choise for Brekina. On the other hand.... I think Brekina wants to expend they horizon with "foreign" models to get a better basis on the whole European market. Many of us are very glad that they don't do just German models like Herpa and Wiking. Not saying these manufacturers does only Germans but it's obviously their "thing".

In the long run, yes. Marc S. There are also rumours about Volvo 140 and the Saab 96. Very well possible because the Amazone was a big hit. Especially in Sweden! Cor.

That is right. Motormax is no competition for Brekina. They both serve another market.

This makes no sence at all. The models, made by Drummer and sold by Brekina, are filling a hole in the European model-market. It are no die-cast models either. Just favorite cars of Drummer. Even the idea that they let themselves inspire by Motormax is redicilous!
