Yep, that's the Harley Earl Nomad. Nice-looking model, too. Unfortunately, I think it would be rather tough to do a car like the Firebird III in resin. However, the Buick Wildcat or Y-Job would be fairly easy. Hot Wheels made a model of Syd Mead's Sentinel 400 limousine, but it was much larger than 1/87 scale. www.promotex.ca/articles/cawthon/2003/images/12-01-2003-6b.jpg

Dear Bill:
I have that! Thanks for clearing that up. (In another words,I was unaware that this was a real - albeit showtype - creation). The scale of it will be between 1/76 and 1/80; its second version has police markings in it.

Syd Mead's Sentinel 400 limousine Fantastic drawings! I've seen a long time ago a book about Syd Mead's drawings and vehicles, but didn't remember what it was. I liked these drawings, full of fantastic vehicles, but designed as if there were ads for car manufacturers of the XXI century. Now I know what to look for. Thanks! About the Corvette and Corvette nomad, there is an interesting brochure about it in the Old car manuel project website: www.tocmp.com/media/Motorama/1954/Brochure/index.htm
