No, that's an error in the description. I am not expecting any new models from Norev.

First, excellent photos as they were very well done with good focus. Second, only Welly had vehicles that I'm going to buy. I liked that Bentley and the VW Beetle was nice too. Everything else put me to sleep.

Schuco needs to fix their website description - there is no such thing as a "Pontiac Oldsmobile 442"

Hello: Photos of some of the new NEO models can be seen on the German mo87 forum. You have to be member to login. www.mo87.de/forumv2/viewtopic.php?f=121&t=17701&start=30 No photos of the Town & Country nor the 72 Coupe de Ville yet but the 78 firebird is there along with some European models like the Bentley Turbo R and Fiat 130 coupe. Very nice models indeed. Regards

Schuco needs to fix their website description - there is no such thing as a "Pontiac Oldsmobile 442" They did have "Oldsmobile" in there, so they got it half correct I am glad they picked up some of the Model Power line, such as the '64 Mustang, and they made the 'Cuda in green! The 442 doesn't have great wheels (they look like the '69 Camaro's wheels?!), but MP had too modern wheels for theirs. I wonder if Burbank's HOH will pick up some of the Schuco lineup--I am still trying to find the Schuco 911 Turbo...

Schuco needs to fix their website description - there is no such thing as a "Pontiac Oldsmobile 442" Ah, but maybe there was --- later in the 70's GM got in trouble for using engines from lesser makes (Chevrolet and Pontiac) in Buicks and Oldsmobiles.

While I am happy to see High Speed's American muscle cars back in production I am not so sure about Schuco's pricing. These models are 10,95 Euros (RRP), a whopping 20% more than Schuco's other announced (newly tooled!) car models and much, much more than the original Model Power price. I don't want to start a discussion about prices, but the economic realities behind this don't bode well.

That's quite some price. The old ones still go for € 5

I noticed that a few of the newly tooled, and some not so newly tooled, cars sold by BHOH are $13.60, each. I can imagine that the Model Power muscle cars, such as the 442 or Barracuda, might be sold for a premium here in the US. I do believe that BHOH are one of the only retailers of them, besides ebay sellers, in the US.
I have noticed that MP no longer shows an orange Barracuda (my favorite out of the three they had), and once again, the 442 is not shown (the '64 Mustang and '63 Tbird have not been shown for awhile). I had hoped that MP would have a yellow 'Cuda and a lime-green 'Cuda, but it looks like I will have to seek out a Schuco green 'Cuda for now.

I would like to see Schuco bring back the Model Power Ford Crown Vic and paint them in some modern American generic police liveries, especially black and white versions. You can have 3 black and whites, with the word "POLICE" in different colors such as black, dark blue, or red for example. I'd pay 14.00 for that easily if done right with excellent paint jobs.
At the very least, paint the Crown Vics in dark colors such as dark gray, navy blue, and maroon for detective cars.
