I look at Chester's website at least once a week. He not only builds great models, he is also very good with a camera . The best picture of all, to me, is "jump in, start er up" A really great shot with fantastic lighting.
Chester, is Vision of Vision a photoetching? Yours?
In your old truck ads, the 88 Volvo ad would qualify to be in another thread even if it was staged.
Note: Both Chester's and Sylvain's URLs are at the bottem of their posts.

Well thank you all for the kind words regarding the picture site. This is praise much valued considering the sources. Lee, the Vision picture is merely a little Photoshop magic done to a picture of the Vision seen already on the site. The IH on top of the Volvo caught my eye many years ago because I have the Wiking piece and the Volvo from IMU. I thought I might stage that pic in 1/87 someday. Thank you all again and the site address should be below next to the Latin for "take it with a grain of salt". BTW Lee, that white '37 Chevy is from Sylvan Scale Models and is one of my personal favorites.

Dear Chester:
I did not had the opportunity to watch at your site et al, but I did loved your vintage Autocar photo. I also always liked the Avatars that you psted. Very nice job, congratulations.
I will also check your site on a regular basis.

Swimsuit edition? I think that I would have named it: Oops - guess where the keys are!

Lee, That pic was posted as a reply to one of the guys saying that my Autocar dump was sporting a thong (reference to the open hood). I said I would give them the real thing. I have been tempted to place the "Car Babe" on the front of a truck since one of the fellas mentioned that he liked the "wench" (winch) on one that is there. Thought I would show him what a wench on the front of a truck actually looked like.

Dear Chester:
Had the opportunity to 'peek' at your site and got impressed with the photos of old cars. Rarities such as the Ford H series or Hudson Terraplane are a pleasure to see.
I will give more checks to it; fantastic job!

I see that Chester has added another section to his website. The truck frame in the under construction is something else. I bet that truck never sees a body on top of the frame. ;D

That truck chassis is made by a fantastic modeler by the name of Joe Enriquez and I told him I would share his efforts with only a few but I guess the cat's out of the bag now. If you are interested in some terrific scratch built equipment look his name up on the photo index at the 1/87 vehicle site. www.1-87vehicles.org/

Do you happen to know how he made the rivets? Something I was wondering myself, I just couldn't remember the English word for "rivet"...

Rivets? Where do you see rivets? I see bolt heads and bolts with nuts on the truck frame. Grant line is one company that makes them.

Chester, your curbside is excellent. The setting with the ground and road looks so real. Model diorama or photoshop?
The panel truck is a true work of art in kit bashing.
Thanks for sharing.
