Dear All:
Found another one which I been looking for a while: Motormax Ford Thunderbird 1978,at a Wal Mart located at the City of Duarte,30 miles from my apartment. Here, for the first time, also saw the NASCAR racers from Winner's circle and a Matchbox Superfast Ford Crown Victoria (the Superfast brand are now only avaliable at Wal Mart;got two of these).

Dear All:
I just heard that Malibu will introduce a 'Movie Series' of cars in 1/24,1/64 and 1/87 scales.
The first releases will be (1/64 scale):
Plymouth GTX from Tommy Boy Pontiac GTO 1970 from Dazed and Confused Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit.
These cars were offered in 1/64 before (and ERTL did issued the Bandit's Trans Am) but still, these will be nice releases.

Dear All:
While is an interesting move by Malibu (Via High Speed Models) to do what is called 'movie' cars,in 1/64 scale these existed for a while.
ERTL made two I can remember: Dodge Monaco 1974 'Bluesmobile' and a Maserati 4-door sedan from the Rocky Movie.Corgi,in their Junior Series, made a superb replica of James Bond Aston Martin (Opening roof, and the seat 'goes high' when a lever is pressed),Submarine Lotus,Mercury Cougar,Bobsled (I saw the later selling at eBay for nearly $90.00) and the flying Matador Coupe (albeit the miniature does not look as a Matador).Next, there are the Playing Mantis/Johnny Lightning Hollywod on Wheel series, which had a good amount of cars from James Bond Movies and several others from TV Shows. They even molded the DeLorean from 'Back to the Future'.Playing Mantis,in fact, did the cars of the both Bluebothers movies (the Monaco and Ford LTD Crown Vic). And so on.
Others, such as the Batmobile, also had an undivided atention from the diecast makers:Corgi Jr. and Playart did molded the one from the TV Show;so did RC2/Johnny Lightning;ERTL offered the one from Batman 1 and 2;Hasbro took care of the ones from 3 and 4.The Cord-like sedan which appears at the Animated version of Batman was also done with.
And Revell offered diecast models of the cars from Bullit Movie (Mustang and Charger).Johnny Lightning did Eleanor. And of course, many more are just waiting for their day at the sun.

Dear All:
At first,Grell offered 1/64 sale models of either known or unknown East German Cars;then some German ones such as NSU and so on;now makes such as Tatra and Russian Zaphorozeths are being molded. What I hear is that these are made by Golden Wheel, are toys at best, but still, many unique prototypes were offered to now,and these are not avaliable in the USA (got the ones I have via Trade).A bit later, and on another thread,I will offer a list of what been made.Anxious to get the Tatra and Zaphorozets.

Dear All:
I called it a surprise.
Today I was walking at the alleys of 99 Cent Store, and as I went to the toy section,it caught my eye immediatelly: Corgi's three inch cars.In blisterpacks, called the Corgi Wheelz and are basically your 1/64 scaled vehicles with wild tampos. All sorts of corvettes,a Chevrolet 1957,Pontiac Firebird 1980,a Dodge Magnum,Mini Copper,Porsche 928 and a BMW Z3 (I believe) are the vehicles shown at the Blisterpack's back.I got the BMW and Firebird. They are not bad.
Also,as known,James Bond Casino Royale debuted today on DVD. Best Buy Stores are selling videos with a prize: an Aston Martin miniature, perhaps made by Corgi. I will go there to confirm it.

Dear All:
I been writing here how Yat Mings diecasts always appears in different packagings or under another Manufacturer's names.
Well, these three inch Corgis I spotted at 99 Cent Stores are,I was informed, made by Yat Ming (rather, former Yat Ming Diecast,800 series).I should check the Magnum, however;that may be one the new models made in 1/72 scale (does not look so at the picture given at their Blisterpack).
Another case when the future researchers of the hobby will discover a fact about Casting (or modeling) Sharing. To my knowledge,Yat Ming did that extensevaly (but they also copy models from other Manufacturers such as Tomica).

Dear All:
The AMC Matador Coupe from Motormax is out and it is,as specified,a 1975 model (so it can be done as a 'flying car' as well). Also, there was a rumour of it,but is a reality: a Pontiac Fiero 1984 is also part of the Fresh Cherries series. Is interesting how many modelers do not care about the final generation of it.
As specified already, these cars does not cost $1.97 each any longer;$ 2.47 is their price now.

Dear All:
Maisto's base series,Transit Authority, ended in 2005. But Walgreens, with its Speed Wheels series, need not to worry: a new Series is coming out and four new models were announced, including a Dodge Caliber.
