After seeing the new announcements 2 things made me take notice: JMK is offering a AMC AMX and Herpa is coming out with a Ford Granada. This isn't the US version of the Granada, is it? If Herpa made an American car I would expect snow in July!
Is JMK a new manufacturer and will this be a kit or assembled? If assembled, this would be a great addition if they can be obtained in the States.
Thanks for any info that can be obtained about my questions.

Sorry, Vito, the Herpa Granada is not the old Grenade we knew and loved, but the second generation of the European version built from 1977-1985. They look nothing alike. The Herpa model is not new, but a re-release of an older model as Herpa appears to have taken a page from the Wiking playbook and is regurgitating all their old models with little or no improvement. Kind of sad in the Granada's case as new headlights would make quite a difference. I still have one of the original run cars.

JMK models are resin kits. A few of them are also available assembled in very limited quantities if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the info guys. Perhaps Motormax could be persuaded to do the AMC AMX considering they like AMC products.

I had this dream a while ago: I walked at the Burbank House of Hobbies and they had a miniature of the Ambassador Convertible in 1/87 scale (the model which had the headlights stacked up - one in the top of the other.I even remember its color, green). When I woke up,I said to myself: yeah, right!! But as of now, my comment would be: its possible, why not? Again, Motormax may do it.
