I'm not speaking for RPS, but I believe the crew cabs might be available by Christmas 2012, hopefully with the caps to match the paint. Everything in the lineup has been pushed back to 2013 as far as I know except the crew cabs and possibly the regular cab pickups.
There should also be 4 new liveries for the SSP Expedition, 2 for fire, 2 for police coming by December.
Hopefully, RPS can get production ramped up in 2013 because they need to put new products in the stores for us to buy. It's a great feeling to walk into a hobby shop and see something new from RPS, and not just new paint schemes.

You're fortunate, Vito, to be able to walk into a hobby shop and see RPS models in the store. Here in the St. Louis area none carry RPS vehicles. I have to order my trucks online or wait for the next model train show to pass through town. There's a hobby shop in Illinois just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis that used to carry RPS vehicles, but he stopped carrying them a few years ago because they were too expensive and not selling well. But, if you want quality, then you have to be willing to shell out the bucks for it.
I'm looking forward to those ambulances. RPS' versions should blow away the ones made by Busch. I'll also be buying those caps as well; both the utility and camper ones. Plus the RPS website is showing that they'll be coming out with fire apparatus. So, more good stuff to come!

Anybody know if that Greyhound Senicruiser is ever going to show up?
I'm liking that 41-46 Chevy dump truck, and also the fuel truck.

Hi all: Judging when to announce an expected product is like a 6 ring circus (and did you ever see one of those?) in action. It's a little better now than before electronic communications; but, not that much better.
Let's say you want to announce a product in Model Railroader magazine for an (expected) December arrival. You would want the ad in the October or November issue at the latest to drum up interest; more likely, you would want it in the September or October issue. Print magazines use to require 3-1/2 months lead time -- meaning for an October ad for a December arrival you would have to send the ad in sometime in June with sample photos if available.
This was erratic enough when most items were made here in the USA. You never knew what of a hundred things would delay a product actually being in the stores. Mould modifications, painting problems, etc.
Now insert Chinese factories (and who knows what factors delay things over there); Chinese brokers as middlemen, corrections to products, slow shipping or expensive air freight.
It is a wonder if anything comes out on time. Now factor in our new "instant" society that wants whatever they see or hear (especially internet related) tomorrow ignoring all other factors.
CMW will produce the SceniCruiser; and, when all factors are taken care of it will be available. Not sure what, if any, of their production is in China. I advise patience and less worry and it will be here. Their first buses were excellent and I have no doubt I'll need a bunch of SceniCruisers when they arrive on dealer shelves.
have fun, Harry

Swampdaddy, I did see the page on RPS' website about the upcoming fire apparatus models. It'll be interesting to see what they produce. No doubt those models will be top-notch, since RPS' attention to detail is second-to-none!
Looks like the ambulances won't be released until next year, judging by it's almost the end of the year and nothing officially announced by RPS yet. There's always something to look forward to, though, in our hobby!

Nice to see the Scenicruiser coming closer to release. They will sell a lot of those as their main market, model railroaders, seem stuck in the 50's - 60's era. I try to model newer times. That is a very nice model. CMW will then have 3 buses in the 50's era; and, Athearn has one in that era. I will buy a number of them myself. I sure do want a modern bus though such as the New Flyer Industries 40 LF or LFR model now so common. collect more buses, Swamp Daddy
