Nick, I think it would facilitate things if you could find a Herpa Opel Omega like this one: www.asahi-net.or.jp/~jh8y-tcy/images/img71.jpgYou would only have to modify the front and rear end and it would be accurately in 1-87. If it's hard to find in NZ, I'm sure I'll find one over here, if you wish. Anyway I wish you luck on the project.

Wrong generation... You're looking for an Omega "B". There is an Aussie on eBay that often sells Herpas, find him and keep checking his listings.

Dear Sirs:
Hm... should I mention that Weico molded a 1990 Holden Commodore? Wrong 'generation?' If not, Weico still offers it at their site.

Hey, any one looking for Australian type cars, speak to owner at www.trains-online.com.auHe is producing limited highly detailed quality Australian vehicles and selling them to his repeat clientelle. I have seen a photo once of the country fire authority vehicles and they looked excellent. he also produces all Australian states commodore police and emergency service vehicles. There is also a small range of Australian train related road cars he does. They do not appear on his website all the time so it is best to send him and email about what he is coming up with. Cheers
