Hi everybody, I like european trucks from the fifties or sixties. That means a lot of Brekina models. BUT, their Trilex wheels are not very good. Herpa used to sell a box of trilex wheels in their spare parts range, but has been out of production for many years. Weinert are expensive. When I find old Herpa american trucks (with a lot of wheels) at 5 euros in swap meets, I buy them just for the wheels, eventually removing the chrome with hydrochloric acid (it's a trick in use for about 40 years in plastic modelers circles). Does anybody here know of a source of reasonably priced good trilex wheels, possibly on the european side of the ocean? Thanks for any info loupgarou

Cfesmire, thanks for the help. I had done a search, but hadn't gone back enough. Problem is, I got the impression that they were in the same situation as me: trying to use old Herpa or Boley wheels ;D Anybody got any other idea ? loupgarou
