In reply to Chester's question in another thread, Yes, not long ago I polished a model which years ago had been airbrushed with Testors enamel. The result was an increased lustre which greatly improved my satistaction with the model. I used MAAS metal polish which I had on hand, and a Microbrush applicator. My original intent was to remove some silver trim paint that was applied a little too wide. I am finding these disposable microbrushes very useful. www.microbrush.comDave

Very useful indeed, I use them before I pick up a Q-tip now(Those cotton fibres drive me nuts). I recently revived an old Wiking MB 190 SL I have had since I was a kid with, of all things, WD-40. It removed the dirt, brought a beautiful shine to the plastic and cleaned up the ageing windows. I just made sure all of the residue was off when I finished and I have a very pristine looking model now using those little brushes and frankly, I clean mine and use them over and over.
