Dear Sirs:
As Jack is out of town (and he will be for a while; business trip to Cincinati) I do got stuck with a problem: some of my Rietze buses have very nasty scratches at their windows (and these are boxed items!). I heard of some products that may fix this problem;if someone knows of these and/or how to resolve these problems, please , I am all ears.
The problem windows are dark colored.
Thank you,
Nick K

Dear Chester:
Thank you. I will try what is explained in there carefully and report the results. As I stated before,I can not use my hands, but this should be a simple repair process.

I have heard much talk about the use of Future floor finish on models. It's done quite a bit for giving a smooth surface to place decals on too. One little trick I've heard of is to mix amounts of food coloring in it to tint windows on models. The aviation modelers love this stuff, they dip the canopy glass in it to give it a really nice gloss. It looks more like glass than plastic. I have yet to try it myself.
