Publications on Buses

Dear Sirs:

Ten years ago,one barely could find a book on buses.Today these not only exist in good amounts,but cover individual manufacturers as well.

I will mention for now the Jane's Urban Transport Systems. Published by the Jane's Group (All the World's Aircraft,Jane's World Railways). It covers Transit System,Bus Manufacturers (Integral Buses,Bus Body Manufacturers,Trolleybus Manufacturers) and Consultancy Services.English. Problem: it is a very expensive book but it is an excellent source of the genre.

Some more books on buses:

Bus World Encyclopedia of Buses. The Buses that are seen on the American streets and highways. Photos of some rarieties including ACF,Gillig-Neoplan and New York's (failed venture) Leyland Double Decker Bus. English; published by the editors of Bus World Magazine.

Bus World Magazine. At first,it was published four times an year;by 1997 it became a monthly publication but I guess is no longer in business. Articles on buses,bus agencies and other bus-related articles.

The World's Commercial Vehicles 1830-1964 by Nick Georgano. In all,this is an index the lists the make of the vehicle,the years it been in business,and which type of vehicles were manufactured. For Mercedes-Benz,the list of products will be Trucks,Buses and Tractors. Two of the bus bodies manufacturers from Brazil- CAIO and Grassi- are listed. Tractors and construction equipment are listed,too. English.

Buses,Trolley & Trams by Chas. S. Dunbar. Published on the 1960's, it deals with evolution of the mass transit systems at the major american and European cities; good amount of vehicular photos.

I am looking for information (pictures, mostly, but anything will be appreciated) on the 1979-86 Mitsubishi Rosa small bus. Websites or books, or brochures (that would be a dream), anything.

Dear Sirs:

It is Mecca to me: a book that deal with toys and models of buses.I do not remember the title or its author,but that publication is loaded with photos of model/toy buses,HO versions included of course. Clearly, I will get this book very soon.

Well,it is a supplement for me,because I am doing -via MAR - a listing of OOC,EFE,Lledo buses and by now loving it.
