I came home with a Lamborghini Miura by I.M.U. this weekend - probably need to update my recent-acquisitions post. Anyway. Now I need an idea for a suitable set of wheels - the ones it currently wears are on the smallish side. Any suggestions that do not require too much work?
Thanks! Marc

only87 came up with the genius idea of using Twingo rims as centers inside larger tires, such as perhaps those from the Diablo or a Ferrari Testarossa.
Using the Herpa Alpine rims as centers might also work quite well.
Early Miuras also had a chrome center spinner, which might be hard to recreate (I know, because I am trying...)

Marc, I put a set of Automobilia 5 spokes on the IMU Miura but I just recieved Herpas sport wheel assortment ( I think this is a new item from Herpa??) and am thinking about changing them. The Herpa tires are a little larger with some tread detail. To see how the Automobilia wheels look on the IMU piece: f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/stryper50Chester

My main problem is how to recreate the "eyelashes" and the Chrome spinners for the wheels. Racking my brain.
