Well if someday me or somebody else begin this project, this subject could be useful.
I have the R5 Turbo in my hands and what I see is that I only could safe the headlights, bonet, windscreen, and half roof. Are you agree? Would you cut the mudguards or would sand them?

I would probably try to trim the mudguards with a file first. The plastic around the wheelhouses is pretty thick and allows some rough filing/cutting.
To obtain a 7 the model would have to be stretched by about 1mm, right?

Right Christian. These are the dimensions:
RENAULT 5
Distance between axles: 2,42 m Axles width: 1,29 / 1,24 m (front / rear). Lenght: 3,50 m Width: 1,53 m Height: 1,40 m
RENAULT 7
Distance between axles: 2,52 m Axles width: 1,29 / 1,24 m (front / rear). Lenght: 3,89 m Width: 1,52 m Height: 1,41 m
The Renault 7 is 49 cm (5,6 mm) longer. 10 of those 49 cm are between the wheels (1,1 mm) and the 39 cm left (4.5 mm) at the rear.

I find it somewhat bizarre that the Siete is narrower than the Cinq. Here, relevant as well, are the dimensions of the R5 Turbo:
Length: 3660mm Width: 1750mm Height: 1320mm Wheelbase: 2430mm
Was the Siete ever exported?
