Greets all, Seeing as you are all modelers, I will put this out there and see what I get. Last week, we got a new toy at the fire hall: I will be making a 1/87 scale model of this truck, using the Boley IH 7600 cab scratchbuilding everything behind the cab. However, I couldn't resist, and I bought Boley's 1/32 scale offering of an IH 7600 dump truck. I would like to do a scratchbuild of the cab-back in 1/32, but am clueless as to where to look for detail parts in 1/32, namely diamond plate/tread plate. Can anyone refer me to a 1/32 modelers site, or companies that offer 1/32 pieces? CHEERS!!

Don Mills has diamond tread plate, they say it's suitable from 1/20 to 1/35. There might be also some things of interest to your project in theyr 1/32 catalogue like the Budd wheels or the fire helmets. www.donmillsmodels.comcgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310016845564I would also check the full catalogue of Plastruct and Evergreen, I don't know for sure, but there might be something suitable in it, too. If you have an architectural supply shop anywhere near, they might be worth a check for detailed plastic sheets, although I wouldn't get my hopes up too high for 1/32 scale stuff. But if they are sorted good, they have even that.

Dear Austinvfd:
I do not know if Auto World is still in business; if so, I would also try them. Is worth to mention that in the past, a 1/32 scale Mack CF Fire engine was molded (can not remember the Manufacturer; I would suppose AMT) and if I am not mistaken, this kit was recently re-issued.You could use the rear of that model plus other parts/acessories it came with it; I have one of them.

I have seen a Mack CF snap-fit kit on eBay in 1/32, made by Revell, definately good for parts. There is also a vector lightbar on a DUB Cobra police cruiser which I will probably use, since I can only find vector lightbars is 1/18 and 1/24 scale, which would be far too large. Here is one model I have considered getting for parts: The lightbar is what interests me the most.
