I was wondering if any of you out there had a favourite concept vehicle, and if you have ever thought of modelling it? When I was younger, I used to do a lot of drawing and sketching which included a lot of concept truck designs, which I only recently thought of re-creating in "1/87th scale". What are your views?

Alan, Yes it's a bit in a SF area of course..... Building existed concept cars is no doubt Taught of building "Vaillante" models myself. There will be a market for I guess But you're talking about models that comes straight out of your mind?? Concept cars. Brand: Allan the Vanner. And when comes the first production model from your company. I don't know. When it looks good..... maybe. Taught it over for 5 minutes or so........ I think no. Not for me anyway. I had to put a line somewhere and for my own protection I don't go further than that. Cor.

Dear Alan:
Hm,yes. What I like about Maisto is the fact that they have a lot of Concept cars at their roster and now Norev is jumping on the bandwagon,by offering the GM Futureliner and Firebird Concept Vehicles. Further,an editor of an 1/64 scale site also did the same when younger. So,yes, I agree for you give further variety for a scale which used to be static in terms of offers and now it has - specially this year - an enormous variety of vehicles to offer.

I thought about building my own vehicles. Not concept vehicles, but models of my own personally invented car brand. When I was a kid I invented sprawling lineups of cars and it would be fun to model one of them.
But I think that there are too many real cars out there demanding my attention. I also feel that the shape of any fantasy design would be strongly dictated by what I can sculpt, more so than by what I actually want the car to look like.
