unpleasant Stanhas87 you just lilled me! the alfa sitting in front row huh? Note to self: do not tell others about the model you are searching for. LOL!!!! Dear Perez: It helps, for on another 1/64 forum, I got a bunch of models by telling the ones I wanted (well, Welly's GMC Yukon was found by chance, and in Poland, from all places, and it has the delares name at its box - Historic model there!!!) and people who had duplicates they would sell/ trade. Alas, when I found it,I searched for one more to 'liberate' it and another to offer for you, as stated before (I would only want $1.99 for shipping or trade, nothing else). This still goes: If I find two more and I will contact you. And trust me, that is the way it works: one looks badly for a model and on a beautiful day, there they are, front of the pack, just saying: 'take me!!' Is a blowing mind sensation when it happens. Dear All: Today it was the turn of High Speed's 1/64 scaled cars; Wal Mart have them now. Since I could not find their 1972 Alfa Romeo Spider or 5-door Toyota RAV4, I settled for their Volkswagen Touareg. Got Greenlight's 1968 Impala (bizarre colors, but that would do) and Mattel's Golf GTI (these are close to 1/64 scale). Well, there goes the piggybank again.

Hi there stanhas87. Don't worry about getting me the alfa. I told my sister to get it for m when she goes to wal-mart. (she owes me a birthday gift ^_^). So you keep finding the malibu HO scale cars? I got a few including the pack that have a Lamborghini diablo, ford taunus, jaguar conv, jaguar sedan and lamborghini gallardo. I didn't knew they made a alfa spider. So you got a golf gti? cool! me too i got one in red, how about you? they always make different colored copies. thanks for your help.

Dear All:
Matchbox for 2008: Volkswagen T2 van (the one with the whole, not split window, introduced in 1967). They did a wonderful job with that; much better than its earlier model. Confirmed. Rumour: Citroen DS19. That I have to see to believe. Man, far and away from the nightmare of 2004, but two critical points remain: generic commercial vehicles (Metro bus model: do a Neoplan, for crying out loud - the Routemaster was just wonderful, see, mostly because it is a real model!) and distribuition - not anymore the 'you find Matchbox everywhere' from the 1960's - 1990's era.
The Malibus I spoke of are 1/64 models. According to this eBay dealer, Siamsky, there are three Alfas in 3 inch: Current Spider, 156 GTA sedan and the 1972 Spider. I want them all. Wal Mart has the Touareg I got, Lamborghini, Mercedes (E-Class?) sedan, Range Rover,BMW 5. Siamsky has a good assortment of the 3 inch range, but no 1972 Alfa or 5-door RAV4. Still. Eventually I will get them all.
And my jaw dropped again today. I saw photos of Motormax Chrysler T & C Wagon, but in 1/24 scale. That thing is wonderful, right on! I am pretty sure that the 1/64 scale version will be as wonderful. Now, I am bracing myself for the Diplomats (I just hope my heart can take all of these emotions).

Hi there stanhas87, yesterday i went to target and yet i couldn't find the friggn alfa giulia nor the bentley. but instead, in the hot wheel section, i found a ferrari 250 LM race car. It is silver-blue color with spokes (the modern type) rims. I got a little happy, but my happiness ended when i "test drive" the car. i was pushing the car back and forth to see if it runs well, but the rear wheel doesnt run, because it makes contact with the wheel housing or fender. For me, when i collect cars, i'm very strict with the way i like my cars, I can;t stand it when the car's wheels limps, or it makes contact with the wheel housing ugh!.

Dear Perez:
However, you did find the Volvo Coupe; this one just came in and that one I did not spotted yet. Keep me posted; if I find the Alfa, my original proposition to you stands.

Dear All:
It is that time of the year, when Manufacturers state which new models will be avaliable at the new year. Below, a list for the new Matchbox for 2008:
2006 Volkswagen Caddy 2008 Lotus 1968 Citroen DS 1969 Cadillac Sedan Deville 1975 Chevy Stepside 1975 Volkswagen Thing Ford F-100 Panel Delivery Future Corvette Garbage Truck Mazda 2 Morgan Aeromax Motor Home Toy Box Pierce Fire Engine Quarry King Rock Crawler II Scraper Shelby Cobra GT500 Convertible Volkswagen T2 Bus Subaru Impreza Police
Very interesting list; I am excited about the 1969 Cadillac and Pierce fire engine and there are other interesting models such as the Morgan, Subaru Impreza and Mazda 2. The Hero City era is long gone, fortunately. However, 2008 is back to 1-100 lineup. Can not say I agree much with that, but since realistic models are a majority, I say that Mattel is treating this brand very good. Another model which was lked by the collectors was the Audi R8.

Dear Perez:
The model of the Lotus is not stated as yet; is a surprise. Also, there is another surprise new model in the works as well. I said it before, and say it again: after Hero City's fiasco, Matchbox has the best range of $ .97 models. The only thing I am not for is the return of the 1-100 series and they still making generic models, specially the Commercial range. However, I am happy that they did a Pierce Fire Truck instead of a generic Fire Unit; and if that approaches 1/87 scale, even better.
