Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this slot car stuff 1/64?

More likely around 1/76 for the earlier stuff; maybe some later slot stuff was 1/64. I only threw it in there for those who might be interested in adding to their slot collections. Swamp

Swamp Nobody mentioned the Faller Car system EMS?? wich was the same size and about the same road-system. This existed before Aurora I believe. Cor

The early system, the Faller AMS (Auto Motor Sport) was a licensed version of the Aurora system, it stayed popular in Europe long after falling into disuse in the US. It used more or less standard slot track; and, it draws power from the track via a standard 12 volt power supply. 1/76 to 1/64
The current vehicle system, the Faller Car System (FCS) is totally unrelated to the earlier system. FCS uses magnetic guidance following a buried wire, it is powered by a battery you have to charge. 1/87

Dear All:
I got a good amount of tha AFX's (and interesting renditions, such as the Matador Racers and c1974 Mercury Montego treated the same way. Also some of the unpowered Cigar series. As an add on,the CBS/Ideial slots, which molded a Chevrolet Nova 1976 as a racer.I like these, and now and then I get the ones I do not have.
Aurora also made one of the few models os the Ford 'C' cab with Mack badge;lately, this item was sold at $130.00 on eBay.
These vehicles are also called HO scale;hence the statement of some auction sellers about 1/64 scaled cars.

I had and Aurora track when I was a child. It was sold in Spain under the brand "Comansi". One of my favourite models was a black/blue Chevrolet Blazer, not the fastest but different to all the sport cars.

I have too many collections now, or I would collect the old Aurora stuff. I sometimes go to German eBay to look for items; and, it is literally full of old Faller AMS in the model section.
A search there; or, on regular eBay will produce so many items you can spend a lot of time looking them over.

I remember when I first discovered eBay and this website, I thought I had discovered something new when I bought an "HO" scale Aurora Maserati 3500 GT. You can imagine my disappointment when I got the package and it was way bigger than HO.
But now, maybe I should get that old Maserati out and shrink it?
