I wonder why no-one has thought of this before? How about sharing any full size vehicle projects you may have? I still have the very first vehicle I bought after passing my driving test - a 1987 Austin Maestro 700 van - that I have been renovating in my garage. I also have a 1992 Toyota Liteace that I'll be doing up shortly for selling on. I also have my "daily driver", a 1996 Toyota Estima that I have been doing a little customising with. It has a set of Lexus RX300 Alloy wheels. I wonder how I can reproduce that setup in 1/87th?!

No wonder you were asking about the Estima in 1/87. I did purchase a 1/100 Estima, but it is kind of far down on my list of projects at the moment. Which RX300 wheels are they, I know it's been offered with a few different rims. Give us a linked photo, and I'll see if it is a possibility. I live in NY and my mode of transportation is a Raleigh ten-speed, the only customization worth speaking of consists of a www.mo87.de bumpersticker.

Dear All:
My first car,Dodge Coronet Station Wagon 1975,was just rebuilt and in the process it was coated with several anti-rust chemichals;its 400 ci engine was 'souped' a tad and the Catalic Converter was removed, for it 'chocked' the car three times.Other customs is an electric rear gate window and a wiper for it.The problem which plagued it and no one could figure out - for twenty years - suddenly stalling - is a memory of the past.I gave it a very long drive and I am simply adoring it even more.Lots of room when the second seat is down;this is a three-seat model;still kept its baby-blue color.
My street warrior,Dodge Aries 1988,has gained a new tranny, and parts of the suspension were modfied (more metal in it plus a new coat of paint (Burgundy) and fancy,wire-type wheel covers (it came like that when I bought it;but soon I discovered that these are delicate items,so I am careful now)..For the Streets, lots and garages in Van Nuys, this is it.Passed its Test-Only Smog Check (three out of five cars do not manage to pass).I like this little beast, but it would be better with a six.Maybe.
The Buick Le Sabre 1970 is still 'on surgery'.It will go slowly, because this car was severely damaged by my ex when she drove it.It will also receive several anti-rust coats.
The others are doing fine, but my work car,Olds rwd Station Wagon 1992 is feeling its age.

Michael,
You realy did a great job on restoring your car! I liked the wheels you used before better but that's my personal taste!
I know how much work it is to get such a result seeïng with what you started!
Good luck!

Dear All:
My Buick LeSabre 1970 is in the restoring process. Is a slow job, because this car was seriously damaged and need a lot of parts, but the work is going steadly. I will be happy once is done.

Congrats! I also like the Protege grille on the thing. Bet you wish it was a Familia GT-R...
