And as we are talking english series, there is one car very typical and already available in our scale: the Mini Moke Taxi from "The prisoner"! Dear Sylvain: MAR magazine had a whole article on the Prisioner models a couple of years ago. I am glad that their Mini Moke made to 1/87; I was not aware of that. By the way: to my knowledge there are very few Mini Moke miniatures ( the one from Dinky is the first one which comes to my mind). Nick K

Dear Sirs:
It run for 12 years and was considered one of the best cop shpws ever: Hawaii 5-0.
It is interesting to notice that its main carachter drove only two separate cars at this show: a black-on-black 1968 Mercury Parklane and a 1974 Mercury Gran Marquis, same color. The first one belongs to a collector who allowed Collectable Automobile to photograph it; the second one was recently sold, but I do not know what happened to it.
Both were four-door sedans. On the Pilot episode, the Parklane was a 2-door sedan and it would be seen (as an added scene) at the other episodes of the TV show.
A phetora of Ford products appeared at the show, be it Torinos,Customs or LTD's. Cars from Chrysler and GM as well (at one episode, the Villain drives a Buick; on another a 1970's MG convertible). Imports as well and I think that I spotted an Hino sedan from the mid-1960's at one of the episodes.
Interesting vehioles to be seen includes an Ambulance on a Pontiac Chassi and a Divco Armored truck. I also spotted Chryslers (Plymouth or Dodge) unmarked police cars.
The GMC fishbowl bus (and its predecessor) also do show on a good amount of episodes. From this show I learned about The Bus markings on Hawaiian buses.
Alas, there is a reference source which lists which cars appear in each episode of the show (Hm!).

Steed drives two different Bentley, one from 1926 and one from 1929. And also a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost of 1927, in the series with Tara King. Emmal Peel's metallic blue Lotus is a Lotus Elan. Tara King drives an AC Cobra 428 and a car that would be nice to see in our scale, a red Lotus Europa. And as we are talking english series, there is one car very typical and already available in our scale: the Mini Moke Taxi from "The prisoner"! [/quot Sylvain, when we go on the English Tour there also was the Sunbeam Alpine from "Sara Lee" And of coarse George Roopers Reliant Robin. We could fill a new topic for Britisch series Cor

There are some rather bizarre vehicles that have been featured in TV shows. The most famous that comes to mind is the Batmobile. There is also the Black Beauty from Green Hornet (66 Chrysler Imperial and it is quite beautiful) and then there is the Olds with the rocking chair on top from the Beverly Hillbillies.

Dear Sirs:
Knight Rider. The Pontiac Firebird that was a rolling computer. Its main, rolling lab was Semi-trailer based on a GMC semi tractor. I also remember a 1975/76 Dodge Coronet sedan that was nitro-powered that appeared in one of the episodes. Or the Pontiac's nemesis,a tractor/trailer that falls on a precipice after they have a confrontation (was that a Freightliner?) David ---------- (I can not spell his last name) debut before Bay Watch.

Dear Sirs:
So to speak,if not anything else, the Pacer had a very original design and no one could confuse this car with anything else.

I always thought that the Pacer was chosen to show that the 20th century really sucked. Then again, I am pessimistic by nature, and I thought that it was chosen since it was the only car Matt Groening could draw recognizably. ;D

Dear Skunk:
A Crown Victoria did appeared on The Simpsons once, and Bart drove - and destroyed - it.

While I am not certain, I always felt that Homer's car is a Buick Century. It doesn't really look like one, but I feel that it suits his lifestyle. Or, more accurately, the absence thereof.

Dear Sirs:
That 70's show. I love the Olds Vista Cruiser wagon that is featured there. There is a Toyota coupe from that period as well, plus a Dodge Van from the 1960's and a VW Van and a Lincoln which I think that is a Mark III; finally a MG roadster.
Still, the car that is shown the most is the Vista Cruiser.

A Gremlin plays a somewhat important role in one of the earlier Treehouse of Horror episodes. Come to think of it, Marge also drove a Gremlin before she married Homer!
