I hav'nt seen a Joe Izuzu ad in a long time. Are they only exporting commercial truck to the U.S. now. No more cars or SUV's?

In the old days there was the Isuzu Bellet. It was a rare car in that time too, over here, but it was a great car. Hm. I should add this one to my wish-list!

They still build some pickups, but in the states all that is left is a Chevy pickup with Isuzu badges on it. Half of the SUVs built in China are variations on an Isuzu theme, though.

Isuzu medium-duty trucks are also sold in the U.S. under the Chevy and GMC names. They're even built here. As far as light vehicles go, the line is primarily rebadged Chevrolet TrailBlazers and Colorados. They sell about 700-800 light vehicles a month in the U.S. In 2006, they sold 8,614 light trucks in America, putting them somewhere between the Mercedes SL-Class and the Saturn Sky.

Dear All:
For a while there I tought that Isuzu (light cars/trucks) were not coming to the USA any longer.At this year's Auto Show,they were not present.
