Ugh. I guess I will refrain from commenting on this one.
Well, maybe one comment: A worldwide boycott of American products, mainly Coca-Cola and McDonalds, as a result of the Bush administration's Middle Eastern wars, is already taking place. I cannot imagine that this will improve matters...

My understanding is that Coca Cola sells a licence to a locale distributor to bottle and sell Coca Cola within a particular area. Coca Cola also issues general guidelines on what should be used to advertize their product. This particular picture is of a truck probably painted by a local distributor who locates in an area that has a lot of people (customers) in the military. Whjile this may be a good advertizing idea in a local area, it could cost many cusomers on a gobal scale.
As far as boycotting Coca Cola or McDonalds, all that is being done is hurting the local people that bought the franchise. It has little or no effect on the parent companies.

Coca-Cola has a fairly strict graphic standards manual that covers vehicles, among other things. Even the independent bottlers agree to abide by them.
However, Coca-Cola does allow temporary deviations for approved puposes. Unless this picture was taken in Iraq, I wouldn't read much into it. The paint job is probably simply a patriotic statement, much like Union Pacific's specially decorated locomotives.
