I haven't heard any news in the last couple of years about Morem. Have they stopped production? While pricey, they were very nice for diecast models and had very interesting subjects (1950's F1: Vanwall, Ferrari).
The other subject of this thread is Carocar. In October of 1997, I sent 150,-- DM to Flomo for the Ferrari 156 and 166M built models. I never received the models or a refund (the only time I have ever been "burned" ordering by mail). I know that they are now producing the 166...will the other models in their catalog ever appear? Does anyone know the situation at Carocar?

Morem production stopped somewhere around 1995/96. They just didn't continue making models. The owner of the molds is still around and I'd like to contact him eventually to do an interview.
Carocar, well, I have done business with them. No bad experiences so far, other than their announcing and never delivering. To my knowledge the only model Carocar currently produces is the Ferrari 500 F1, in kit form only. I inquired many times about the other models and the answers were either 'Just a few more weeks' or 'Trouble with the pattern maker'. At this point I have pretty much given up on them.
