I have recently noticed the ugly duckling in a new Wiking piece that has the newer smooth body type. Does anyone know of this model available with the older riveted body evident in the casting?

I am not sure which one's the riveted version but Evrat made a bunch of 2CVs, including the very first one.
They are resin kits (also available assembled), out of production since 2001.

Talking about 2 cv's,I have a question:Herpa's model has retangular headlights. Is this right?

If I am not wrong the rectangular lights for the Citroën 2CV 6 are ok. Nevertheless the Charleston version had rounded chrome lights.

Dear Albert:
Thank you.Up to now,I thought that this vehicle had round headlights.
Another question:what year these models with rectangular lights came out?

what year these models with rectangular lights came out? In 1975, rectangular front lights replaced the older rounded ones, but the rounded ones remained in use for some models, like the Charleston or the Special.

Wouldn´t it be interesting an Eko van with the front, and wheels of a Wiking 2CV?

Well, Herpa wheels will be better, the Wiking ones are inaccurate. Let’s see what Brekina/SAI will do…

Wouldn´t it be interesting an Eko van with the front, and wheels of a Wiking 2CV? JFK (no, not Kennedy) did just that. ;D
