My current daily-use car is:
1986 Honda Civic 4-dr sedan (I have made this one in 1/87 by using the front piece of BSD's Honda Civic CR-X sport coupe and scratchbuilt the rear part)
Joe - if you are interested in my 1/87 '62 Dart body (based on an enlarged Lancer body), I would be glad to forward it to you. I have not managed to make a proper front yet, but I know you can do a nice one.

I'm a woodworker and need a pick up. My most recent is a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. Just this week found the Ertl model. My wife and I share the driving of a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee , (Dodge/Chrysler/ Jeep dealer saw me coming that year) and do not have a 1:87 of it. And my "backup" vehicle is a 1990 Isuzu Trooper, sadly, no 1:87 Isuzus of any kind although the Trooper would make a nifty model. I cannot help but mentioning the loss of my project vehicle several years ago of a 1949 1/4 tn Dodge pu. I'm still in mourning.

I have a 1998 Mercury Mystique (Ford Mondeo). I have several of the Rietze models from different periods and hope to one day fashion a model.
My wife has a 1998 Mercury Villager. No model of that one. (Yes, our Mercury dealer was very happy; we bought the car and the minivan within two months of each other).
Son has a Pontiac Firebird; too late for a conversion of the Herpa.
Daughter and her husband have a Chevy Caprice, but the it's a 1991 with the funky rear wheel openings.
I have promised myself that the next new car I get will be something I can also get in 1/87 scale. ;D

Dear Sirs: 1987 Taurus. (Hmmmmm......................) Dear STANHAS87; That's a very fine car compared to my Honda subcompact (see above) from the same time. I recall my first visit in the States back in '89 and we rented a Taurus 4-door in L.A. - a very comfortable car. And a very nice 1/87 model (4-door) is available from Williams Bros

Hem…as many Parisians, I’ve got no car!… Ditto. Not that I'm a Parisian. I am looking forward to getting a car this year though, most likely a Lancia Beta HPE. ;D

I have owned five different vehicles, three bought new, in my life but no longer have a real need for one. The cost of buying and operating a vehicle is getting very expensive and I can find better things to do with my money, like buying more 1/87 vehicles. My present modes of transportaion are the bus, shoe leather and our new rail lines

I really wish that I lived somewhere where I could do without a car. In the suburbs to NY, public transportation is a joke - unless you want to go to the city.
My Mazda Protégé5 (323F, not the same body as Herpa's) will never appear in 1/87. I was thinking about scratchbuilding one, but I do not really like it that much. I will build a copy of my Jeep Wrangler though, either the MFM kit or from a Roco.
And I will live somewhere with a garage space, so that I can have a project car.

I have a VW Golf Mk4 Highline TDI-PD 130, four doors, six months of age now. I have a Herpa model which is fairly close, although it's black rather than pearl black. And the model already has the BBS cross-spoke wheels the big one is due to get :-)

I think the price is somewhere around a million English pounds. I thought about all the cars I have ever owned and only one has been produced in 1/87 scale, it's the Trident Chevy standard-bed pickup. Mine was actually a GMC, but I painted a Trident Chevy to match my full-size truck.

I drive a "dark anthracit green, blue black ?!?" (indefinable changing colour... depending of light ) Renault Laguna Estate Diesel every day...it is my personnal job car...not very exciting , but good tool ,with GPS system . My personnal car is a MG ZT-T (superb metallic signal blue) which is much more what I like as everyday car ;D...but at the moment the MG ZTT is out of service (waiting for new keying system from MG/Rover factory , after have been stallen and repaired)...in the meanwhile my wife has to drive a "Hertz" rented Fiat Multipla (in fact she likes it much more than the MG ....!)
