Norev has created a forum opened to all the collectors. And includes a section dedicated to the 1/87 scale. Maybe there we can left our suggestions for future models. forum.norev.com/

I've just had a look, there's one thread in the HO part of that forum at the moment and in the second post in that thread someone is asking for VW Beetles. Karmann Ghias and the VW 181.... Not models we'd like to see done again I think, maybe some of our French members (or others capable of expressing themselves in the French language ofcourse) could try and steer that thread towards models not already available in 1/87 ? A Venturi perhaps ?

Unbelievable! How anyone could have a hard time finding a VW Beetle is waaay beyond me, but maybe this particular collector requires one with yellow headlights? Other than that, the forum is a remarkable step in the right direction for the company and its customers alike - as long as it is handled carefully. I will second the vote for a Venturi (any Venturi, but preferably not the rather charmless Atlantique) or the Renault Alpine A610. Or just about anything else that is not already made elsewhere. No more 2CVs, no more Peugeot 404s. I guess that after UH's awful Peugeot 205 there is no hope whatsoever for another one from Norev? Enough talking, I am off to dust off my French dictionary and begin posting!

Indeed a very good idea from a manufacturer to create a dialogue with his customers. It can be a bit rough at times. I have noticed a thread already locked, but on a whole, I praise this initiative. Oliver

… No more 2CVs, no more Peugeot 404s… Well, someone was already asking for another 404… I've answered it would be a mistake, unless it's a break or a coupé/cabriolet. …It can be a bit rough at times… That's for sure! ;D And from the very beginning!

Dear All:
My apologies, for I do not read French, but all scales are handled on this forum? If so, I want to compliment them for their magnificent 1/87 and 1/64 scale items(and sorry, the latter - made by Norev - I refuse to call them toys).

…but all scales are handled on this forum?… Yes there are some topics about the 3 inches. You know, the forum is in french, but you can open a profile in english. Messages written are not translated, but you could perhaps leave a message in english, indicating from where you are. It would show how Norev's models are liked not only in France. So far, difficult, this forum… A member, owner of a shop where I know now I will never go in, monopolizes the threads, even if he does not seems to know much on our scale. Aargh… ;D

Dear Sylvain: Thank you. I truly appreciated that. I will try to do what you said. One of the eBay sellers I make deals with is bringing the Norev 3 inches. I will let them know I like most of their releases. Nick K

Lumping together 1/87 and 1/64 says a lot about Norev's attitude towards our scale ...
