Looking at the mo87 messageboard, someone pseudonymed "Railop" claims that Herpa bought the Miber molds. Is this just a hopeful rumour? Because I know that now images of Herpa re-releases of Citroën BX, Lancia Dedra, etc, etc, are dancing through my head... not very likely, I suppose: Herpa sure didn't wait fifteen years to release the Monogram models. Still, the mystery remains: Are the Miber molds just collecting dust in some warehouse in Singapore? Were they melted down as scrap metal by some over-zealous administrator after bankruptcy? I have some pots and pans that are made in Singapore, maybe that's where the metal went? Or maybe, some crazed collector is holding on to them - I am looking at you, Christian.

Nah, I don't collect molds. Looking at the mo87 messageboard, someone pseudonymed "Railop" claims that Herpa bought the Miber molds. That was more like a question than a statement - he seemed to remember Herpa buying the molds. Which is, quite frankly, highly improbable.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I guess I am guilty of being just as hopeful, intentionally misunderstanding German.

Dear Sirs:
One thing that I found interesting about this manufacturer was the fact that they offered Formula racers and a Mercedes-Benz enclosed racer. And -again,thanks to MVU I got mine - the Lagonda, a few of this models avaliable in any scale (Playing Mantis did the other). All in all, their offerings were on the interesting side.
