Check out this website which list the cars from the movie: www.dazed-and-confused.net/cars.htmlThey could even release the Trans Am in a second color for this movie. I would love to see any of the others released in scale especially the Early Bronco ('66-77), Duster, and El Camino. We don't need another Ford van (Planet Toys), Chevelle (CMW), VW Bug (everybody), Maveric (Motormax-hopefully). Can't wait to find them Richard O Pacific Northwest

I did some more checking and learned all about the Reel Rides. They are developed in cooperation with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group, but Nick and his crew are correct; the project is being handled through Malibu International, which means High Speed is doing the models (Yay!).

Oh, one more note: Right now, Reel Rides are for the U.S. only. However, I did recommend they consider certain European markets.

LOL. The ambulance from Mother, Juggs and Speed is a good one (even though you have dated yourself with that one). Me too, provided it includes a 1/87 Raquel Welch.

Well, Schuco already announced the Porsche 356 Speedster as part of their 2007 range, albeit in a different colour and without reference to a movie. Given that these are High Speed models, I would assume some more will make it to "certain European markets".

Is it just me, or does Reel Rides' lineup not include a whole bunch of GM products that cannot possibly pass the "choke test"? GM seems to be very selective in deciding which projects to stop...

Here are some pictures: Only the Porsche is marked as Manufactured by High Speed (sticker). The boxes all have licensed by GM and Paramount Pictures. It still lists the re-directed website: www.malibuinternationaltoys,com RAOlosn

Skunk:
The Firebird, GTO and pickup are all long enough to pass the choke test, so GM will license them.
