Here are three trucks that were modified to represent ones as they might have looked in 1934. 1. Stakebed -- Body is from a Jordan Mack AC kit, cab is a generic one from a Mini Lindy concrete mixer and frame is scratchbuilt from styrene. This would be an over-the-road vehicle. 2. Tanker -- A Jordan Mack AC kit that was revised to look like a jobsite-only construction truck. Three of the four tank compartments were blanked over. Inside, the tank dividers would have been punched through to make a single tank. A water sprayer and valve was added to the rear. 3. Flatbed -- A Jordan Mack AC cab and chassis (the stake body was used for truck #1 above) was the starting point with a scratchbuilt bed and added details. This would be a jobsite-only truck for hauling concrete form boards and junk. All three had already been built when I acquired them. See the in-progress shots on this facebook groups (you'll need to sign up for it to see it): www.facebook.com/groups/237133496770777/?source_id=68545409395 . I drew the non-Jordan decals in Adobe Illustrator and had them made by www.facebook.com/www.gwscustomdecals/ .
