When we cleaned house after my grandfather passed I held onto this truck for many years. But then my father was selling the homestead and I had no room for this at my old house so we gave it to my buddy. Well time passed and the property did not sell and I was able to purchase the homestead but all the rigs are long gone. So I visited it the other day at his junk yard. The old D-300 are a rare find in any condition but this one remains in tact. When you look at the front view of the cab you will see the passenger side headlight lens missing. Well guess what yours truly broke that with a rock when I was around 8 or 9. I still remember that day as it has bugged the crap out of me. If it wasn't for that besides the rust it's 100% complete. I even left old receipt books in the glove box from the 50's. Sylvan makes a nice model of the D-300 you would just need to swap out the rear milk tank with a oil tank.

It's nice to see a derelict pre-war truck in such a relatively good condition. Any chance of a restoration? It would be a shame to just let it rot.

The truck is my buddies now, he has loads of projects and really who knows what will become of it. I also have plenty to keep myself busy like most of us. My 64 Cyclone has been sitting in my garage for 30 years still not complete.
