Seven years ago, I started my first day working in Ricko. I knew nothing about 1/87 and the only impression was that all the 1/87 vehicles were so ugly. I should appreciate many members in here gave a lot of idea and encouragement of making new vehicles. It was a lot of fun from heart. I used my engineering background created a series of the best fine 1/87 vehicles in the industry. I love the MB series I made in the old days. I still put all cars I made in my display and it has become one of my interest of collecting these vehicles. Thank you so much for all giving me this wonderful interest.
I left this industry for four years. Not many companies in the globe can made such fine vehicles as they are using the traditional engineering to make them. Many model companies are lacking of engineering expertise. I wish to see someone who can make really fine vehicles which can be added into my display.
Any suggestions?

NEO makes some very nice vehicles for display, they are certainly made from a lot of parts!

I have every Ricko model made and they truly were some of the finest models ever produced in 1/87. We all miss the variety and quality of the models by Ricko.
I would recommend Spark but unfortunately, their production of 1/87 models has slowed to almost zero. NEO is also a fine quality producer of a variety of HO vehicles.

One thing I'll always admire about Ricko was the ability to deliver high quality product at an excellent price. The American vehicles were especially appreciated, and my favorite is the Dodge Charger Police car. The 2003 Escalade is a close second.
The day that Ricko left HO (producing vehicles under the name Ricko ) was very sad because I knew that you would not be replaced. Neo can do excellent work, but I wish their prices were lower. I don't see any company producing modern American vehicles again, unless Neo takes a chance. Otherwise, I just don't see it. Welly and High Speed are remote possibilities, but I still doubt it.
The only thing I can do is talk you out of retirement! It sounds like you still have the passion for HO so please go for it!

River Point Station Fords, I believe they are equal to the high quality and standards as the Ricko vehicles.

Hey Mr. Ricko. It's a long time ago. The Rolls Royce was the last one if I'm right. We hoped on more.
